"It had already been six months since Gia diligently handled all the preparations and planning for weddings on her own. We genuinely appreciate the effort you've put in, Ms. Gia," the boss acknowledged with a smile. Gia graciously stood, bowing as her colleagues clapped in recognition.

"But don't worry; there will be a new team member joining you guys in the office," the boss continued, removing his eyeglasses. Surprise and curiosity danced across the faces of the team, including Mingyu and Gia. The boss gestured towards the door, where a knock resonated.

As the door swung open, a tall man wearing glasses entered, standing beside the boss with a warm smile. "This is my nephew; please treat him well," the boss announced. The tall man bowed and introduced himself, "Hello, everyone. My name is Wonwoo, and I will be the Wedding Planner of the team. Please treat me well." He smiled, adjusting his glasses and bowing once more.

After the briefing concluded, the boss's voice cut through the room, "Ms. Gia, could you step over here for a moment?" Gia gracefully excused herself from the team, rising from her seat and making her way to the boss. On the other side, Mingyu couldn't help but feel a bit pouty as he observed from his chair. Mingyu, still processing the unexpected sight, couldn't help but pout.

"We should probably head to the office; the briefing is over. And don't fret about Ms. Gia," Alma reassured him. Mingyu nodded, and in a playful, childlike manner, he linked arms with Alma as they walked through the hallway toward the office.

Expressing his dissatisfaction, Mingyu muttered, "I thought I could have Gia to myself." Alma couldn't contain her laughter and affectionately patted Mingyu's arm. "Son, nothing is permanent except change. You should stop clinging to me like I'm your mom; after all, we're in a workplace setting." She chuckled, but Mingyu, like a proud son, shook his head in disagreement. "You've always been like a mother to me—guiding me since my early days here," he said, a hint of pride in his voice. As they entered the office, Mingyu let go of Alma's arm. However, before he could move away, Alma called him back.

"Remember, don't let the new guy win Ms. Gia over, alright? I'm rooting for both of you. Fighting!" Alma showed a cheering sign, and Mingyu laughed, nodding in a
