Basics:
 

- Debuted on November 6th 2005 on SBS's Popular Song (Inkigayo) with Twins (Knockout)

- There was originally 12 members : Leeteuk, Heechul, Hankyung, Yesung, Kangin, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, Kibum

- They are under the Agency SM Entertainment.

-They were originally going to be called 'O.V.E.R' - Obey the Voice for Each Rhythm

- It then changed to 'Junior' because of the members young ages at the time

- After SM's producers saw that the members had talent, they called them 'super', resulting in their name Super Junior.

- Super Junior was orignially a project of an all 12 rotational boy group that would introduce new members each year whilst some of the current members 'graduated' (left), thus, keeping the group members young and all rounded. 

- They were officially named Super Junior'05, representing the first generation of members debuting in the year 2005.

- SM gave up the idea of the rotational group

- On May 23rd 2006, a 13th member was added - Kyuhyun & bands name dropped the '05.

- Leeteuk is the leader

- Kyuhyun is the maknae

- There are 5 subgroups - SJ-M, SJ-T, SJ-H, SJ-KRY, Donghae & Eunhyuk

- Zhou Mi and Henry were added only to SJ-M, not Super Junior itself

- December 21st 2009, Hankyung filed for a contract termination with SM Entertainment

- December 21st 2010, the Seoul Central District Court ruled in Hankyungs favour

- September 27th 2011, Hankyungs depature was made offical

- Currently only 2 members have completed the military sevice (Kangin & Heechul)

- Leeteuk & Yesung are currently serving the military service

- Kibum is inactive for Super Junior schedules and is focusing on his acting

- Their fanclub is called E.L.F - Everlasting Friends

-Their fancolour is Pearl Sapphire Blue
