The Lonely CrabThe Fifteenth Tale
Yoongi sniffled as he curled his small frame into a ball. He tried not to cry or, at least, he tried to stop the falling tears from his eyes.
Although he was the youngest in the family, he was a strong man, and strong men were expected to one day serve the country and protect their people.
They never cried. Crying was a sign of weakness.
He'd promised his mother he'd protect her. He'd told his father that he was going to be strong. He'd dreamed of being recognised as person, away from his brother's overwhelming shadow.
Yoongi knew that he was still far from his dream.
"There you are," he heard a familiar husky voice; his brother.
He flinched away from his touch and refused to meet his gaze. He huffed. His brother sighed.
"You got us worried, you know? You suddenly disappeared and we couldn't find you anywhere. Mum's really upset."
He bit his bottom lip.
"...Sowwy..."
"Come on, I'll carry you."
Yoongi stared at his brother's opened arms. He sniffed and reluctantly reached out to him, wrapping his tiny arms around his slender neck.
