Once I'm Honest
Description
Henry and Amber have been friends for a long time. Everyone jokes that they're perfect for each other. Henry knows better. He's been down that friends to lovers road before. Besides, having Amber always as his friend means much more to him than having her as a flame that could one day burn out. Doesn't it?
Foreword
(I don't know much about Super Junior. A lot of this will be coming off my head and my love for Amber. I look forward to reading comments on the fic as it goes along. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my nonsense.)
"Do you ever wonder if she ever gets tired of being everyone's 'sister'?" Ryeowook asked, looking across the dressing room to where Amber was sitting on Donghae's makeup table and fiddling with his hair. Her own hair was currently a spiked yellow-white that set off her tan perfectly. Her eyes sparkled with mischief and her unique mouth released a loud laugh at Donghae's new look.
Henry glanced over and shook his head. "Nah. She loves it," he smiled. "Gives her an excuse to act like a baby and get away with it. Did you know she poured out half of Kyuhyun's coffee and mixed in soy sauce and Cola? Poor guy nearly threw up before we went on stage the other night."
Ryeowook laughed and covered his mouth. "I think I told her he'd done that to me once. She was probably just trying to get revenge."
He looked over at the girl again and smiled. "Cyop-chi."
Henry looked between his group member and one of his closest friends. It wasn't the first time someone he knew said something like that about Amber. She was a very sweet girl. Warm, caring, and amazing to hang out with. He'd never wondered if any of them saw her as more than a playful little sister, but watching Donghea pat her cheek and Ryeowook smile so brightly at her, he was beginning to.
