Wasted Lifetime
Description
"Bommie noona."
He softly called out.
She stiffened; Staying still as her back faced him, her heart in an unending journey of irregular beating.
"If you could ever turn back time, would you.... do anything to change us?" His regretful eyes in downcast.
"Because I definitely would. In countless heartbeats, I swear to God, I definitely would." He lamented as he remained deeply rooted in his seat, same crestfallen look boring to the ground, knuckles turning white as his hands formed harsh fists.
"Tabi ah." He finally looked up as he felt her hands consoling his. He met her smile. His most sought after smile in the world. The reason why he always every time he got the chance, be it in concerts or variety shows. But his heart continued to ache as he did not fail to notice that it is now tainted with sadness.
"There's no time wishing for time to turn back now." She started caressing his cheek gently, even wiping the tear that fell. "The both of us could only move on. To live the most of the present and to hope for the future to be kinder." It was now her turn to shed tears. And damn did he hated those tears.
Opting to medicate the pain, he channeled his acting skills to put out a brave and bright smile,
"Then what a wasted lifetime it is for us, Park Bom noona." He comforted himself with the chuckle she released. Inwardly giving himself a pat for at least at this moment of sorrow he was still able to make her laugh.
But she knew him more than ever. He was faking it to comfort her. After her chuckle died down, she decided to be selfish.
'Just this time.'
She shifted her body higher in the kneeling position, wrapped her arms around his neck, and kissed him with all the years of hidden love and affection poured down on it.
She stood up and broke it before he can even close his eyes or respond.
"Maybe in another lifetime, we will become better versions of ourselves, and be a better match for each other.... Till then, Choi Seunghyun."
With steady steps, she turned her back to walk out of the room. And to walk out of the life of the person she loves the most but can never have.
Many years later...
If they only knew how true their words became.
Foreword
Annyeong Haseyo!
I know. I know.
I still have an ongong fic (Dodging Bullets) but I just really NEED to write and share this story because I'm kinda down with all the scandals and linking my main couple. I am heartbroken, but regardless of that I will continously support them because they are already deeply rooted in my being. No matter how cheesy or weird that sounds it's the truth.
This fic is inspired by real events and my imagination of course. *wink*
Do support me in this journey juseyo~ Kamsahamnida. *bows*
