Old Maiden
Description
Haseul’s grandmother used to tell her that if she sang while she cooked, she would become an old maid.
Now, at 22, she acknowledges that it is just a superstition, but also realizes that maybe it wouldn’t be such a bad thing to be an old maid...

I just returned from Kcon LA 2019! I actually didnt know many artists so I tried to “research” them. Of course, with my luck, I stumbled upon the Loonaverse and just fell down another dark hole of kpop ^^’ At least it’s not too deep? I’m still on like Episode 180 of Loona TV and I’ve only watched a few other variety show appearances. Nonetheless, I love them. They were great at Kcon. They’re beautiful. They’re such energize people. Ugh.
Anyways, I kinda wanted to write this since it was Haseul’s birthday and Loona’s anniversary.
This is based on a Filipino superstition. I don’t really believe in them, but they are in the back of my mind. I love singing and I always have to tell myself not to sing when I cook, but I was humming one day and thought... maybe it’s not a bad idea to be an old maid? Who knows? Haha.
I hope you enjoy it!
