Humility and Pride
Description
Jongin wasn't your average student and Kyungsoo knew that.
Foreword
The best thing about the night was that they could see each other, feel each other, be with each other.
Under the night sky, when nobody else was looking, when nobody else could judge, where nobody could find them. It was better to watch the night sky from here. They felt warm in each other’s arms, they felt like nobody could hurt them.
Nobody could break them apart.
They stared into each other’s eyes for a moment that felt like an eternity, connecting their lips occasionally, breathing in their happiness while they could, because things would change. They had to.
Maybe for the better, but they didn’t know.
The night sky soon changed as the sun brought the light. They sighed as they watched the ball of fire mark the end of their moment.
“How long until you have to leave?”
“Less than an hour, it has to be done early.”
“Will you be alright?”
The white wing angel smiled, seeing the concern in the black wing angel always brought warmth to his heart.
“I’ll be fine, I promise.”
And that’s a promise he swore to keep.
They shared an embrace that felt like goodbye somehow, pulling back to stare into each other’s eyes once again. Their lips letting out the words they both had been so desperate to say. Words that express how they feel towards each other, how they’ve been feeling for a while but never dared to say.
Just three words, eight letters.
