"Itaas ang kanang kamay."

Joy told Seulgi with a serious, deadpan expression on her face.

Seulgi did.

"Now repeat after me," Joy said, looking at Seulgi sternly.

"Panata ng bading na nasaktan."

"Panata ng bading na nasaktan."

"Sa straight --

"Sa straight--

"Hindi na mahuhulog muli,

"Hindi na mahuhulog muli,

"Ngayon at kailanman."

"Ngayon at kailanman."

Both Joy and Seulgi then lowered their right hand.

Joy's happy for her best friend. She truly is. After three years, she finally saw Seulg's smile reach her eyes again.

And the lightness of her being - it's back. 

But she doesn't want her best friend to get hurt once more, not when she's just recovered from a relationship that crushed her.

So a month after Seulgi and Jisoo have reconnected, Joy just had to have the talk with her.

"Pre, kung puwede, bakit hindi. Pero alam mo namang hindi baliko si mare."

"Alam ko naman 'yun 'tol," Seulgi said.

"And to be fair kay Jisoo, she doesn't really lead me on. Masaya lang talaga kami 'pag magkasama. Magaan lang.

"Walang mixed signals?"

"Wala."

"Okay. Basta klaro lahat."

Seulgi would be surprised though when Jisoo would eventually set some things straight with her, in a way that was far from straight.
