Foreword
"My lord?" questioned Oldan Snow-Shod, Steward of Daygon.
"Yes, Steward?" answered High Prince Yunho.
"The King has summoned you to the great hall." the steward answered.
'What is it this time?" he countered as he continued to stare longingly at the soothing fire burning in the stone hearth before him "Don't tell me it’s another royal plea for marriage."
"Luckily, no my Lord." chuckled the steward "There has been news from Timeria. Queen Imerian has sent a delegation."
"Delegation?" questioned Prince Yunho "Who did she send?"
"None other than Prince Junsu himself." scoffed the steward in disbelief.
"Are you serious?" questioned Yunho, glancing up at the battle-worn soldier now turned royal steward "Why would she send her eldest son? Whatever he has to report must be something quite serious."
"Indeed." answered the steward "Queen Imerian, while a wonderful and compassionate ruler in her own rite, is still the most possessive and protective mother I've ever known. Sending her eldest son to Daygon means only one thing: Trouble."
"And, big trouble at that." sighed Prince Yunho knowingly.
"Very well." nodded the prince "Please inform my father that I will answer his summons, post haste."
"As you command, my lord." acknowledged the steward as he backed away, turned, and exited the prince's royal chambers without another word.
"This isn't good." sighed Prince Yunho "Not good at all."
