The Scientist (A Sequel to Silver Heart) - HIATUS, read last chapter
Description
I turn the pill between my thumb and index finger and watch as the minuscule light winking from my desk lamp briefly shows the twisted yet structured frame beneath it's pellucid shell. It looks grotesque as much as it looks crudely enchanting. It resembles the branches of black veins that run beneath white, tautly stretched skin. Pale, beautiful, otherworldly, and captivating.
I am amazed that I was able to create such an enigma. This is the product of the hard work that I toiled after for three years. With this invention, the accusations and suspicions cast against the company can cease. I have begun a phenomenon, and it was all because of the unplanned help of a worrisome Exon.
With this, I can ensure that the Institute never sees destruction.
Foreword
First off, shout out to dearoppa for the epic poster. Also, if anyone wants to make a video trailer or other posters, I would be happy to post them in the following chapters!! Please contact me for this.
Oh my gosh guys, THE SEQUEL IS FINALLY HERE.
I'm sure ya'll are as excited for this as I am. Maybe even MORE excited. It's been almost two years since I started Silver Heart. (NO WAY. Why does time fly so fast??) And now, the foreward for the sequel has been posted. I hope I won't fail you.
BE EXCITED. We are on to bigger (better?) things. Yes, Lay is one of the main characters of the sequel. Yes, Emer is still present. There will be an uprising, and a revolution, and a question of morality. There will be new characters and old characters; fresh problems, same issues. The tide is turning, and you will find that there is a heart that beats after it has been silenced, and a heart that is silent because it has been beat.
But here's the question I'm sure most of you are asking.
Is Luhan still alive?
You'll find out.
