Storm Rising Deleted Scene: Jisun

Originally I had non-military scientists come in on the other spaceship at the ending. I decided it wouldn't make too much sense though considering the problems the boys ran in to. I can see Mato sending only military units in case there was another incident. That's why I changed it.
There was also a bit of dialogue that was suppose to be scripted in but I left it out completely. I didn't like the time frame for it and felt that it should come along a lot later in Jisun's and Yongguk's relationship. Things happen of course but it still didn't feel right to me.

Here is the original ending I had intended to use:

Jisun stacked the items on the shelf when she heard the shop's door open. She turned to greet the customer but stopped when she saw who it was.
"Hey." Yongguk greeted with a smile as he approached her.
"Hey." she replied. "What are you doing here?"
He gave her a knowing look. "There's a storm coming in."
"Yeah, I saw the clouds." she told him. The sky was darkening pretty quick with the rain clouds blowing in. Then she inhaled sharply and eyed him. "Wait, you mean...?"
He chuckled and nodded his head. "Yeah. You want to go?"
"Absolutely!" she exclaimed excitedly, bringing another chuckle for him. "I get off in ten minutes."
"I'll wait in the parking lot for you." he told her. Then he gave her a quick peck on the forehead before heading for the door.
She blushed and watched him leave. Then she shook her head and continued with her work.
Ten minutes later, she hurriedly clocked out and went to the back. She grabbed her purse and headed out the back door. She glanced around and spotted Yongguk leaning against his jeep. He waved and she quickly went to him.
"Ready?" he questioned and opened the passenger door for her.
"Yep." she told him and climbed in.
He closed the door and went around the vehicle to the driver's side. He got behind the wheel and started the engine. After putting on their seat belts, he drove out of the parking lot and headed for the mountains.

As they drove on the dirt road, Jisun looked out the window. The only thing she could see were trees after trees on the mountain. She didn't know where the road eventually lead but it didn't seem to lead to much. There were no other roads or driveways that led off of this road. They were alone.
The woods gave way to a little turn off on the side of the road and Yongguk turned in to it. She could see the other boys standing around the two vehicles they had rode in. Yongguk parked with them and turned the engine off.
Yongguk and Jisun got our of the jeep and joined them. After the usual greetings, Yongguk took her hand and the group walked off into the forest. She had to be careful where she stepped cause it wasn't exactly a trail, signaling to her again just how remote this location was. But they needed it to be that way.
Suddenly there was a loud boom of thunder that made her jump and Yongguk squeezed her hand. She chuckled at herself and smiled at him to let him know she was alright.
Finally they reached a clearing and everyone tilted their heads back to stare up at the sky. Black clouds hung overhead, ready to drop they water the were carrying any second. Then out of the clouds came a spaceship. Jisun smiled as a giddy feeling overcame her. She would never get use to the sight of a flying spaceship.
The ship descended to the ground and came to a rest its landing gear. Then a door appeared right before a ramp formed in front of them. Seconds later, a group of people came out of the ship and walked down the ramp.
Yongguk let go of her hand at that moment and went to greet the new arrivals. Himchan and Youngjae joined him with Youngjae carrying a packet of papers that were to help the group settle in. Important papers and notes so they blended in well.
As she surveyed the group, she gasped as she saw an odd sight. A little girl frowned as she fiddled with her fingers. Then she pulled at the skin on her arm, as if she was uncomfortable with it.
Jisun turned to Jongup and quietly asked, "Why is the little girl here?"
Jongup glanced at her before looking at the group and his gaze landed on the child. Then he turned back to Jisun and smiled. "Her parents are the lead scientists in charge of collecting the energy." he explained to her. "They brought her along to see if life on Earth will help her. With the lack of energy, some matoki have been sickly. Especially children."
"Oh." she uttered in surprise. "That's horrible. I hope she gets better here."
At that moment the little girl suddenly looked over at her. Jisun froze for a moment before lifting her hand. She waved at the child and smiled. The girl smiled as well and pointed towards her. Then she lifted her hands up to the back of her head and moved them like rabbit ears.
The smile faded from Jisun's face as she stared at the girl in confusion. She turned to Jongup to see the boy put his hands by his head and do the same movement. "What does that mean?" she asked.
Jongup glanced at her before chuckling. "Ask Yongguk-hyung."
Jisun raised an eyebrow, even more confused. Then she looked back over at the child. The girl giggled before one of the adults grabbed her hand and lead her away. The meeting was over and the three guys walked over to them.
"What does the rabbit ears mean?" Jisun asked Yongguk as soon as he got close.
Yongguk instantly came to a halt and his eyes widened as he stared at her. The other members burst in to laughter and grinned at their leader.
Himchan brought his hands up and did the rabbit ears motion. "Bunny, bunny." he said to Yongguk in a teasing voice.
Yongguk blushed and pushed the other guy away. "Shut up." he muttered, causing all the boys to laugh even harder. Then he quickly went to Jisun and grabbed her hand. Without an explanation, he pulled her away from the group and headed to the cars.
"What's going on?" she asked him.
He blushed even more and pressed his lips together. So she planted her feet and yanked her hand away. She folded her arms and frowned at him.
He blinked at her in surprise. "I... Uh... It..." he stammered, obviously embarrassed.
She sighed and let her arms drop. "Just tell me." she softly said.
He stared at her for a bit before closing his eyes and groaning. Then he opened his eyes and took a deep breath. "I was hoping you'd find out in the usual way."
"Find out what?" she questioned.
He opened and closed his mouth a few times as if he was trying to figure out what to say. "Uh... Well... You remember how we can tell who is human or matoki by looking at them?"
She nodded her head. "Yeah. Our auras are different."
"Well... She... Uh... She... recognized... another... matoki." he hesitantly mumbled.
"But I'm not matoki." she reasoned.
He shook his head. "No, you aren't."
She raised her eyebrows, staring at him in both disbelief and confusion. Then her face slackened as an odd thought came to her. She quickly grabbed her stomach and glanced at it before looking at Yongguk again. He was staring at her stomach as well and then looked up to meet his gaze. He was blushing so hard, he was practically bright red.
"What?!" she loudly shrieked.
He winced and took a step back. He brought up his hand and self-consciously rubbed the back of his neck. "I... Uh..."
"Are you serious?!" she continued in shock.
"I... I didn't want to say anything." he informed her. "Just in case you freaked out about me knowing before your own body told you."
She bit her lip as her mind tried to process everything. "I... I'm pregnant." she quietly said.
He swallowed before nodding. "Yeah." Then he bit his own lip and eyed. "Is this..."
"Bad?" she finished for him. "Well... I mean it's weird. Too soon. But... no." she decided while feeling her face heat up. "Not bad."
A small grin formed on his face and then he chuckled while blushing again. "Then according to traditionally human custom, there's something I should ask you."
She furrowed her eyebrows in thought before groaning. "You didn't."
"It's in the tree house with the rest of your treasure." he sheepishly told her. "I figured that was the safest place to keep it without worrying about you finding it."
She closed her eyes and put her face in her hand. "I can't believe this."
"So is that a yes?"
She removed her hand and looked at him. There was a glint of hope in his eyes as he intently stared at her. She moved closer and grabbed both of his hands. "Yes Yongguk." she told him. "I will marry you."
Immediately, a big, gummy smile graced his face and she couldn't help but smile as well. Then he leaned in and kissed her. She eagerly kissed him back, her heart thundering in her chest.
At that moment, the clouds opened up and it was suddenly raining. They broke off the kiss as Jisun yelped in surprise before quickly laughing. She looked up at the dark sky, letting the raindrops hit her face.
"I love you Jisun."
She lowered her head and smiled at the man she was ready to share her life with. "I love you Yongguk." Then she moved and tugged him towards the road. "Now let's get home and get my ring."
He laughed but let her pull him along. Together, they ran through the woods while the storm raged on around them.
