Red Velvet's Wendy appeared on JTBC's 'Cook Representative' on May 4.

She revealed on this day, "While living in the United States, I received the Obama President's Award [for Academics] while I was in middle school there," and introduced herself in great English to the chefs from Dubai who were present that day.

Kim Sung Joo asked the chefs, "Have you ever received President's Awards?" and they said they had not.  Ahn Jung Hwan then revealed he had indeed received one for being good at soccer.
