It's not you, it's me Yoichi is a very playful and flirtacious guy around people he likes - especially if it makes them flustered. He's a player but one who is usually with players anyway so he doesn't really need to worry about hurting anyone's feelings. He doesn't do long term relationships because he doesn't want to get attached to anyone and he doesn't want anyone to get attached to him at least until he knows he isn't going to die. Because of this, he tends to sleep around (but always safely) with a variety of guys. His natural tendencies to flirt also affect his relationship with women but he never does more than flirt.
He uses his playful personality when he doesnt consider a situation particularly serious or where seriousness on his behalf would be unnecessary. He does, however, become serious and focused when it comes to intense battles, makimg/keeping promises, protecting the ones he cares for (sister/bf).
It's actually you but I was trying to be polite Because Yoichi expects to die at a young age, he tries to avoid unnecessary conflict whenever possible. (Causing trouble doesn't count, this mainly applies to serious situations) Generally, when he feels wronged, he treats those that wronged him as if he doesn't care. He doesn't hate them, persay, but he doesn't want to give them enough of his time to like them. If someone isn't worth the effort, he isn't going to try because to him that's just a waste of his energy. A few things that might bring this apathetic side out of Yoichi are homophobic comments, cheating (in games), etc. ***(add more things)
Despite his generally apathetic attitude towards those he doesn't like, he has a vindictive side to his personality. Whereas apathy generally comes about when people disrespect him, his vindictive responses surface when those he deeply cares for are wronged. Situations where he becomes overcome with anger and the need for revenge or justice include basically anything that involves his sister being hurt in any way, shape, or form (emotionally and physically). Although he never intends to become close to anyone other than his sister, this eventually applies to other people in his life (the people he meets and the boy hefalls in love with).

Ikumi is Yoichi's little sister. They have a very good relationship with one another. They never had any bad fellings between them due to the - she's 19. Where Yoichi acts cool and levelheaded, Ikumi acts cute and somewhat irrationally as she is very idealistic. She acts especially cute around her brother and they are very close to one another. He spends a lot of money on her and spoils her even more than their parents do but he makes sure to get her something he knows she'll love rather than a meaningless gift. She was the first one he told about his uality - "I already knew that silly" - and she accepted him immediately. He is undoubtedly the nicest to her compared to anyone else he knows (until Yijeong). He knows that Ikumi will do their family good as an heir so he isn't afraid to dishonor his family through death/failure to produce an heir. He has yet to tell her about his sickness. When she figures it out and learns that he isnt trying to really get treatment she gets upset "HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF OUR SITUATIONS WERE SWITCHED? WOULD YOU LET ME DIE WITHOUT EVEN TRYING TO LIVE???"

Myelodysplastic Syndromes - abreviated MDS - are rare disorders in which bone marrow fails to make enough healthy red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Although these disorders mainly occur in the elderly, they can affect younger individuals too. Yoichi falls into the latter category meaning he requires special consideration to identify suitable candidates for allogeneic stem-cell transplantation - a potentially curative approach carrying a high risk of treatment-related complications. The other aproach is allogeneic bone marroww transplants from either a sibling or a doner list.

Yijeong's father was one of the original game designers for SOULART. This means Yijeong basically had a head start on the game. He got into the beta test as a present from father. Anything that isn't free to play, Yijeong has. His father is constantly giving him things but they rarely ever get to meet in person because of how busy his frather is. They love each other and talk on the phone often. His father's 'sorry I couldnt make it' apology often consists of gifts or money - nothing Yijeong generally needs. It's his relationship with his dad that gets him into the project to save the players of SOULART. Originally he didn't want everyone to know he was in because of his father, but when the man himself came in to introduce the project and also told them Yijeong would be joining the project his cover was blown.

First Impressions
The pair's first meeting didn't go especially well. When they first saw each other, both were immediately intrigued but that all changed for Yoichi when the game developer introduced Yijeong as his son. Everyone was introduced to one another with Yijeong done last as the developer's son. Yoichi automatically assumed that the young man was definitely there because of his father's job and not his adequacy in game.
