Just wanna ask. Since when you guys became a kpopper?

For Me, it was during the summer of 2009. I was staying in a hostel and my roommate bought a tv and satellite or dish or something like that. I have been watching Korean dramas since forever but at that time never followed their music industry. Since we have a KoreaTv channel, we just kept the channel opened 24/7 and they will have like a segment for kpop video clips after every program. So basically I could watch 30 minutes of kpop mV after every one hour. At that time, I was crazy over tvxq and their hit song at that time was mirotic. And soon I became a shawol. I really love noona nomu yeoppo and love like oxygen. And followed by 2am. They're really cool. I also love t-ara, snsd, 4minutes, and big bang. At that time big bang was really famous with their song haru-haru and farewell. I also listened to mblaq, 2pm, ss501 (I don't really like their song), and much more. I just kinda forget.
I was also into shinee fandom. I read a lot of jongkey fics cuz I think they're the coolest couple hahahaha. I think shinee fics really different than infinite fics cuz they're more open about gender bender.
Now I'm more into woogyu of infinite. Actually i love all of infinite but i like the dynamic between Hyun and Gyu. But when I wanna change air I will turn to exo fics since exo has the largest fics collection on earth (I've read about this somewhere). Their stories also kinda differ and have lots of varieties.
Before kpop, I was crazy over jpop. I listened to news, arashi, kat-tun, miyavi, hamasaki ayumi, utada hikaru, malice mizer, smap, and lots more. Jpop are cool too! They have lots of outstanding singers and their music and fashion is different. Their celebrities dressed according to their liking, not following their companies orders or stylist. So they're basically free to express their fashion sense. Now if you ask me who's the most handsome in jpop, I would say yamada ryosuke of hey say jump. Seriously guys! he is the hottest!

So, tell me about you!

I have known Dara thru SCQ (reality show where she was discovered in Manila) and when she moved back to Korea, I knew it was a career choice so I still supported her. After 2ne1 debuted I have been listening exclusively to them. Despite my sister's numerous attempts to lure me into other groups (she's into bigbang and 2pm at the time) I just couldn't get into it and only likes 2ne1 as an exception. While I do listen to K-drama OSTs, I still prefer rock and rnb songs than pop. Besides, I have this negative impression about Kpop overall. (yeah my bad)

However Bigbang's Fantastic Baby is undeniably good, not only the music is so addictive but the visuals are also aesthetically pleasing as well. Add to that the fact that the said group are amazing performers too so my resolve against Kpop crumbled in an instant. So yeah that was 5 years ago. I remember the times I listen to them and watch their mvs on a daily basis. I also learned the art of shipping and enjoy what they call fanservice, things I have never heard of before Kpop all thanks to hem.

I cant do multi fandom back then until I watched You're Beautiful in 2013 and was entranced by AN JELL which then led me to Youtube to search for more videos of them where I discovered FTIsland and CNBlue. I became a casual fan of both but eventually got a little more obsessed with the music of the former due to a wide variety of genres they do and the steady stream of releases they make. Being a Primadonna is the best decision I've made since Kpop interfered with my life lol

I got into Exo only 2 years ago but I'd say it is a different experience altogether, seeing that I am here in AFF almost every minute if I could lol (yes that means I dont have a life tysm)

Between 2008 or 2009. My classmate showed me DBSK and Super Junior MV and just like that I got hooked. I really really loved SHINee but then INFINITE debuted and I was in dilemma which one I like better. I'm not that into fandom thingy after 2012 since so many groups debuted and I never stan on fandom after that. Maybe because I knew kpop from older generation so the newer groups did not interest me that much, except maybe BTS, but I still prefer the older generation more.

I was first introduced to K-pop because of my sister. She showed me a BIGBANG MV and I was in the sixth grade at the time. BIGBANG was the only group I listened to at that time. I didn't really get into K-pop until I was in the eighth grade (I was introduced to SJ and SNSD, who had debutted a couple years before I began listening to them). The groups I currently listen to...I actually didn't start listening them until a year or two ago (BTS, EXO, etc.). I'm pretty much a latecomer but hey, everyone becomes a fan at different times :)

I first came across my first KPOP MV which was EXO History in 2012 but I got so freaked out by it (I was like 12 and there aren't any Koreans where I live) so I deleted my internet's history xD. Then, I properly got into KPOP due to classmates from school in 2014. To be honest, I think the first group that I knew about was SNSD because I used to hear Kesha cover's of Run Devil Run a lot between 2005-2009.
