writing can be extremely hard so make sure that you read this for some help.

 

Fanfictions were created for a community to show their creativity whilst using their favourite things and making them a major part of it. 

 

1. What do you want to write about?

for new writers I would advise that you write about things that can be comedic and just good. Writing angst can come in once you are familiar with writing such things.

 

2.Planning

So you have a new idea but do not know how to develop it?

PLANNING is the way to go.

characters must have personalities 

settings should be set

Modern, past or futuristic storiylines should be planned based off that time period.

OC characters must be described.

You don't have to plan out your stories but I tell you, that story would be 5 times better than a story that has not been planned.

 

 

3. Writing about minors

I do not advice you to write about kpop idols under the age of 16/17 s about minors should not be written but their names can be mentioned if you are writing about something appropriate for their age.

In order to stay out of trouble, just don't write about underage kids.

 

4.Genre

people think that fanfictions must be romance when it could be anything but romance, it's you that is the author here and your mind, write what you like and don't write about what you are not passionate about 

5. Schedules

Monday- writing

tuesday- not writing

wednesday- not writing

thursday- maybe writing

friday- no writing

saturday- writing

sunday- writing

here is an example of a schedule of writing, make sure that you are committed so that people awaiting an update can be fed.

 

6. OC characters

Creating an imaginary character is one of the hardest things to do in writing since it is so hard to create a dream person.

this links to planning, Plan persona, the way the character would look, how they would talk, how they would walk etc.

 

7. Storylines

Storylines must be original in order to be successful

websites to write on: AFF (of course) and WATTPAD, wattpad is much harder when it comes to attaining views but AFF can give you 1000 in a day if you pay to promote it or put it on the popular tags.

 

For Wattpad users, it will be much harder to gain attention on wattpad since most people come there looking for one direction or fictional romance stories, I will say it's best to write here since this is a community aimed at people who like Kpop, Anime, Kdrama, Jpop, Jdrama, Thai dramas etc.

also on this website we can change the colour, size and fonts of texts to make the reading experience better don't forget the cool layouts.

As a writer you must treat your fans nicely and try to reply to their messages as much as possible, saying that you are too popular to reply will just label you as ignorant.

even if it takes one hour, just try to reply. If you are WAYYYY too popular maybe reply to a few at least, it is just showing how nice you are.
