I got an idea for a new fanfic and wanted to share it to see if anyone's interested in this genre. 😊
Since my fanfic Phoenix is ending soon and re:start is also slowly approaching its finale, I revisited a concept I've had in mind for a while. It would be an M-rated fanfic this time. I'm considering writing a wolf/soulmate AU featuring Baekhyun and an OC as the main characters. It would be slightly similar to Spellbound; basically a wolf version with a different and possibly darker plot.

The OC in this story is an omega wolf on the run from her old pack. She felt miserable staying with them since the other wolves mistreated her, so she tries to start a new life in a different place. That's when she encounters Baekhyun, an alpha wolf from a different pack, who's also her mate. However, she refuses to accept him since she's scared to trust another alpha due to what happened in her past. She would rather be free than being at the mercy of someone who's physically stronger than her. Baekhyun, on the other hand, wants to protect her from her old pack and at the same time struggles to gain her trust.

That's the gist of it! The story would be angsty in the beginning, similar to Spellbound, and focus on the growing bond between two characters with very different personalities. I love writing romance stories this way; I think it's sweet to see a relationship develop over time as the characters endure hardships together. The alpha/omega dynamic is something I haven't explored yet, so I'd like to try!
