So earlier today I was talking to one of my good friend at school
Me: I watched this awesome movie yesterday
Friend: Really? Which one?
Me: The Perks of Being a Wallflower, with Logan Lerman and Emma Watson
Friend: Oh God! Logan Lerman is sooo y!
Me: I know he's soo good-looking, which is kind of funny 'cause he plays this unpopular kid. As if someone with that face could be the kid sitting alone.
Me: Oh! and Emma Watson is just so freaking y in it too!
Friend looks at me weirdly
Friend: Maybe, but you sounded like a dude when you said that. Usually a girl would say that another girl is "pretty" rather than "y".
What I said: What? But she kind of is y though... With her hair and all. (at this point I was kind of mumbling)
What I wish I had said: Can't I compliment another human being regardless of gender or their body? Why couldn't a girl appreciate another girl's body without it having to mean anything. It's not because I go around complimenting that a dog is cute that I want to it....
So here's the thing, I mean why did she react like that. I am not homoual at all. If anything I am as heteroual as one can be I believe. But that doesn't mean I can't appreciate bodies or facial features regardless of gender. Am I being weird or is my friend the one being weird? I find Emma Watson with short hair a beautiful, y and appealing woman, I do not wish to slobber all over her face nor to have s*x with her. I simply felt like complimenting her I guess? It's like a nice painting somehow? I find humans walking paintings? :D Some are really well painted.
