WARNING: Sasaeng Fans
I have heard of Sasaeng fans before. I then got the sudden urge to look into it though. A Sasaeng fan is not a fan, it is a stalker. Idols are regular people. I was nearly in tears when learning about what these idols go through. These stalkers are violent, gross, and down right unrespectful. I have read many incidences of what these people will do.
I'm typing this as a true fan to warn others of these so called "fans". They say they "love" their idol. You don't love your idol by hurting them, yourself, or other people. There tends to be more female Sasaeng's than male but there are male ones out there. Sasaeng fans are considered criminals because of their behavior. I would be more than happy if you would share this information so people can see how much damage is done and raise awareness. PLEASE RESPECT AND LOVE YOUR IDOLS THE RIGHT WAY!
Incidences:
1. Super Junior’s Choi Si Won
Hacked into Si Won’s twitter account. Si Won posted afterwards, “Real love is when you understand the person and are caring. Love is not when you invade someone’s privacy and spy on them. Please do not hack my account again. Please.”
2. FT Island
Broke into the dorms, took personal belongings and pooped by the emergency door near the members’ dorms.
3. Kim Yoo Jung
Almost kidnapped Yoo Jung by impersonating her father at her school’s office during her elementary years. He told her teacher that he’s here to take his “daughter.”
4. Big Bang‘s G-Dragon
Blocked Big Bang’s van in China. G-Dragon revealed on Yoo In Na’s radio program “Volume Up” that “there were many times when fans followed us by taxis and other cars. But this was the first time that the fans blocked us by placing cars in the front, back and both sides of our van. They stopped and came out to take pictures. Fortunately, they let us go after taking pictures.”
5. Shinhwa
Used their bathrooms and took their laundry. Kim Dong Wan revealed that he sprayed the fans with cold water so they would leave.
6. Girl’s Generation’s Jessica
Creeped into Girls’ Generation’s security-enabled apartment complex. Jessica revealed on an episode on SBS’s “Strong Heart” that a man followed behind her after she got out of a taxi and used an umbrella to block the apartment complex’s main entrance. She continued, “I thought he must’ve lived in the complex, but he continued to follow me. When I walked faster, I heard his footsteps sped up behind me. I quickly entered the password and got home and not much later, I heard someone trying to open our front door.”
7. JYJ‘s Yoochun
…slapped Yoochun’s face as he was trying to leave the hair salon. The sasaeng fan thought that he would remember her that way. Click here to see the video.
8. 2pm’s Taecyeon
Sent one of her used monthly menstrual pads to Taecyeon with the message “Ok Taecyeon, you can’t live without me.” After much outrage by 2pm’s fans and the public, the “fan” later wrote on her blog, “I’m sorry. I’m sorry to make the fans and Taecyeon worry. I didn’t know it will get this much attention. I’m not a sasaeng fan, just obsessed.”

Kai was standing near the stairs when a sasaeng fan grabbed him, causing him to fall down and injure his chin and knee. Other sasaengs reported seeing sasaengs near him touch him in inappropriate places. He was unable to get up on his own, leading Baekhyun to try and lift him up.

"There were instances of breaking and entering where fans would take pictures of us while sleeping, try to kiss us, and steal our private items." -Junsu
13. Song Joongki
An evening jog turned into a thrilling chase when two fans who were in a taxi caught sight of him, hopped out of their vehicle and ran after him.
14. TVXQ!
When MC Kang Ho Dong asked the two members the question, “Did you ever have a hard time because of the excessive love you received from fans?‘. Changmin responded, “I changed my phone number because I got a lot of prank calls. 5 minutes after I changed my number, I got a text on the number saying ‘You changed your number’, which shocked me“.
Yunho added, “It’s very mysterious. I changed my phone number again and I got a text saying ‘Changing your number frequently isn’t good’. I also got pictures of items that could only be found in our dorm. I was very surprised at that time“.
Changmin made the audience laugh by saying in jest, “If you know my phone number, it means that you have looked through my personal information, which is a violation of the law. Taking pictures of our dorm is also a violation of the law as it’s housebreaking“.
15. EXO
A sasaeng fan bought the same van as EXO and used it to wait outside EXO’s schedules. Luhan actually tried to get on it once but his manager freaked out and pulled him out.
16. Kyungsoo once had a bruise on his eye because a ‘daepo sasaeng’ (daepo = DSLR camera) hit him in the eye.
17. Tao was at a foreign hotel for a schedule and sasaengs had installed a recording device in the bathroom that recorded noise of him showering and humming a song.
18. Kai’s teddy bear incident. EXO Kai also received a stuffed animal as a gift from a fan while at the airport. The doll couldn’t get past security so they searched it and found a hidden camera in its eye.]
19. Lay went back to his waiting room to find all their bags opened and their contents strewn around
20. A sasaeng fan stuffed something into a member’s bag and ran away and it ended up being her underwear.
21. Sehun and Luhan were ually harrassed by them.
22. Sasaeng fans were on their knees crawling around outside EXO’s dorm so when people asked what they were doing, they said they were trying to find EXO’s stray hairs.
