Okay so I opened my tumblr today for the first time this week and the first thing I saw was EXO's  Sports Seoul interview. 

I got curious about it so I decided  to read it and found a part there when they were asked aout their sasaeng fans. 

I actually cried while reading it because I feel bad about how 'sasaeng fans' treats the members.

And these are what they said:

~ “We experience difficulties due to the sasaeng fans, please stop”

- You have a large fandom despite having debuted recently. You must be thankful of the fans’ love.

During ‘Dream Concert’ or ‘Idol Olympics,’ we gained a lot of strength from the fans who were there to support us, since they were so loud. During one pre-recording of SBS ‘Inkigayo’, 1500 fans had appeared. There were more of them but not all of could enter(the recording venue). We often get tired from the schedule but we feel healed on-stage because the fans always cheer for us so enthusiastically.

-From ‘Inkigayo’ audience ban, EXO seems to have a lot of ‘Sasaeng (Extreme fans who follow the stars’ every movement)’ or diehard fans.

We often worry. When fans surround our car, we want to wave but are afraid that the order will destruct so we refrain. It hurts our hearts. The sasaeng problems are very serious. Aside from directly influencing us, it negatively affects unrelated neighbours, or other people, and it makes us uncomfortable. And since EXO is gaining attention due to the sasaeng problems, it reflects negatively upon other fans as well. It’s disheartening.

- It must be difficult dealing with sasaeng.

I (D.O.) have it pretty bad. My personality is already shy and guarded and it worsened. I became insecure because there were so many sasaengs. My feelings towards regular fans change sometimes. No matter how many times I change my number, they will call in the middle of the night. I looked at the suggested friends page on Kakao Talk and I had over 600 people on it. They once gathered all the members in a Kakao Talk group chat and messed around with us. They would be waiting in front of our house so we would ignore and they will loudly shout profanities. We put a lot of effort into distract them (Note: in order to escape notice) when we visit our families. We are afraid that our attitude towards fans will change because of the sasaengs.

-  Is there anything you want to say to them?

Please only cheer for us in official appearances such as during concerts or performances. Of course, thank you for madly cheering for us, but we have our personal lives too. If you really love us, please avoid acting like sasaengs. Especially, waiting in front our house is a large disturbance to our neighbours, so please don’t do it."

"baekhyun said “should i take photos of sasaengs in front of our house and publicize them?” and balled his hands. when members then stopped him by saying “[sasaengs] will like it more then”, baekhyun said “when i walked past treating them like an invisible person, they swore audibly. it was shocking.” kai added, “when we have to go to our homes and not the dorm, we have to go secretly like a ‘007’ plan. when the chinese member luhan was asked “what is sasaeng [to you]?” a short and strong reply, “stress”, came. "

"When I asked the question, "Even though you are rookie, there seems to be a lot of sasaeng or passionate fans," members lost all traces of smile on their faces. They spoke out, "It's really serious", "It's hard emotionally", "There are times when [I'm] angry", "[Sasaengs] call late in the night. There's no use even if [I] change [my] number."

In my opinion... WHY SASAENG FANS?! WHY?! WHY do you have to make them suffer?! We know your just fangirling but this is just to much! You need to know your place! >:( They don't deserve to be treated like this! You need to know it's for your own good that's why they aren't giving their attention to you because you might get hit by your feels to much and hurt yourselves! Why do you have to shout profanities at them?! Yes, It's somehow a joke to curse them especially the photo's we see in the fanpages because they are reaaaaaally effin' handsome (and hot),  but why say it to their faces?! They are humans like us they get hurt from what people say. Sasaeng fans should know the meaning of  PRIVACY AND IT'S IMPORTANCE. Please try to be civilized or else all of the other fans around the world will suffer from your doings. :(((

Try to put yourselves in their position, wouldn't you get frustrated at them like they are being frustrated at you?
