Chapter 6
FATEDMark’s POV
‘Bro, where have you been?’ Jackson asked the moment I set foot in the living room. I looked around and everyone was there.
‘Just walking around the neighborhood,’ I lied. All of them were giving me the ‘really’ look. I pretended not to see it and was about to enter my room when I heard Youngjae say, ‘Ayeee, don’t lie. We saw you talking to a girl at Woollim’s backdoor while going back to the dorm.’
‘It’s most probably Mijoo. I saw him giving her a bag full of stuffs,’ Yugyeom added.
‘Seriously? All I see was her dragging Mark into the building,’ Jaebum stated.
‘You are blind, just admit it. Everybody knew it except for you,’ Yugyeom said, sticking his tongue out. Jaebum rolled his eyes and started to bicker with Yugyeom. The rest were plainly looking at them arguing in this childish fight. Sometimes, I wonder if Jaebum is really one of the oldest in the group.
‘The real question is are you and Mijoo dating,’ Jackson said seriously, cutting off the argument between the two. All eyes were turned towards me.
Not this again. They keep asking whether I’m together with Mijoo ever since the day we went to the amusement park. When I’m in a daze, they will tease me by saying, ‘Thinking about her’ or ‘Do you miss her already?’ with a mischievous smirk plastered on their faces. I got to admit that sometimes, I wished what they said was true that Mijoo is mine.
‘Again, for the last freaking time, we are just friends. Forget it, it’s useless saying it. You guys will not believe me anyway no matter how many times I say it,’ I speak in annoyance.
‘I didn’t say anything about not believing you!’ Jackson started to raise his voice. Before we get into an intense fight, Jinyoung is already dragging me away and saying, ‘Mark and I will be getting dinner. Bye!’ Then, we left. We went straight to a restaurant which sells Chinese food as Jinyoung was craving some.
Once we reached there, we ordered a variety of food and requested it to be takeaway. We then waited patiently for our food to come at the side of the counter.
Mijoo’s POV
‘Hi there! May I get your order?’ the worker asked with a small smile on her face.
‘I’ll like to have two of this, three for this and two of this. I’ll also have seven of this drink. That will be all,’ I said and handed her the company’s credit card. I stand at the side and was just eyeing at the worker’s every movement.
‘Mijoo, is that you?’ I heard someone called my name. I was shocked and surprised when I heard it. I wondered who will be calling me, it could not be any of my relatives since none of them live in Seoul.
I turn around and unexpectedly, I saw Mark with Jinyoung. He waved and I was trying my best to show him my excited face to him. I feel like running away, he was the last person that I want to see as of now. Seeing him, remind me of what happened on the rooftop.
I still can clearly remember how it felt like being this close to his face. My stomach was having butterflies and I could sense that my whole face was burning. My heart was p
