Part III.

[Ailee's POV]

"Baekhyun.."

Well i'm the only one who heard that because it came out a whisper.

"Get inside. You'll get sick."

He said, no emotion on his face. 

"Mind your own business."

I said and turned away from his spot. Looking at him making me want to run towards him and say that i missed him so much. I'm trying not to.

"Still stubborn as before eh?"

I ignored him and started walking away from him.

"Yejin.."

That's it. I'm getting annoyed. Can't he see that i don't wanna talk to him? That i'm obviously ignoring him? Before i freaking run to him! I need to get away from him!

"Don't.. Talk to me.. Don't.. Come near me.."

But the truth is, i wanna talk to him. I wanna get close to him again. I just don't want to get hurt again. The past year been hell, i don't want another one.

"You changed. I like the old one.."

Can't he just stop? He's the stubborn one until now!

I stopped on my track and face him. I sighed.

"I don't care.. Can you just stop following me?"

I turned around once again and walked.

"Yejin.."

He called out behind me. From his voice, i could tell he's few feet away from me. I didn't turn around. Afraid of meeting his eyes that could melt me right away.

"Leave me a-"

I didn't to finished my sentence because of shock. He hugged me from behind.

"I missed you.. Yejin.."

With that, all my tears i tried to control earlier poured down like it has its own brain. I was froze from my spot. I'm so weak to even move. All i can do was cry and stood there.

"I always think of you.. Everyday.. Hour.. Seconds.."

He tighten his hug while saying those. Whispering but enough for me to hear it.

"I'm sorry.."

And the next thing he did broke my heart again. He pulled away.

"It's too cold now. Get inside."

And heard footsteps getting away. When i got enough energy to turned around he's nowhere to be seen again.

It felt like what happened that day came back earlier. The day he apologized. The day he apologized because he's leaving her. The day he left.

I wiped my tears and quickly run to my room. As i locked my door, tears escaping my eyes again.

"Stupid tears.. Aren't y'all getting tired?"

I said. I knew the answer tho. As long as i love him this much, as long as i'm hurting, as long as i'm can't accept that we're really over, i will continue to cry tirelessly.

I fell asleep that night with tears on my eyes. Wishing everything is just a dream and i'll woke up with his arms and he's smiling at me.

Too bad it's real. It's not a dream, a nightmare exactly tho. I didn't woke up with his arms, but alone with my eyes swollen instead.

"Noona?"

I heard someone knocking and calling me out. I knew for sure that it's Chanyeol.

"Wait! Gimme a minute."

I run through my bathroom and washed my face. My eyes are not that swollen as i woke up earlier. It looks like i just woke up.

"Whaaaaaat?"

I said as i opened the door giving him a fake annoyed look.

"Awe. So cute!"

Chanyeol said and pinched my cheeks.

"Aaahhhh! Yaaa! Stop that!"

I said and he obey though.

"Don't do that then. Get dressed and we'll go to the downtown! There's fireworks display tonight and we'll be buying stuff and celebrate christmas in advance!"

He excitedly said while jumping and waving his hand. Oh. I love this boy!

"When?"

"Oh, after lunch! You coming right?"

"Okay then, i'll be there after lunch."

I said and about to close the door.

"Yaaa! Aren't you joining us on lunch?"

I felt like there's something stuck on my throat.

"Get inside and get dress! Hurry! Chen, Tiffany and D.O cooked something for everyone. I'll wait here."

I know i can't do something about it, so i nodded and got inside but as soon as i held the doorknob he suddenly stop me again.

"Oh, and put something cold there. So it won't be obvious."

He said pointing at my eyes. I was caught off guard. Not able to said something.

"Hurry! I'm hungry!"

He pushed me inside and close the door himself.

He knew then.. Silly me..

"Don't just stand there! Hurry!"

I laughed. He knew me so well.

"Yaa.. Don't peak!"

I joked and walked towards the bathroom.

"You wish old Noona!"

Me and Chanyeol went to the cafeteria and saw that everyone's already there chatting and laughing. I saw Baekhyun on the corner talking to Sehun and Lay. He turned and looked at me but quickly averted his gaze which hurt me on the spot.

He's acting like nothing happened last night. Of course it hurts!

"Yejin come sit with me!"

Xuimin said and offer the chair next to him. I sat and Chanyeol sat beside me as well. Then everyone made their way on their own seat while Chen and Tiffany bought the food on the table. Soon they joined us.

"Smells delicious!"

Said Kai as hungriness written on his face.

"Let's eat!"

D.O said and we started our breakfast.

Chen sitting opposite me, offer the foods to me first before taking his. I smiled and said thanks. In the corner of my eyes, i saw Baekhyun looking at us with serious face.

We ate as we were talking about stuff. Like what happened last night. This time i didn't hesitate to joined them.

It was fun, except the fact that me and baekhyun didn't talk. And the fact that Baekhyun and Taeyeon acting weird. I mean they are couple right? But they're treating each other like casual.

But there's some point where he would offer her something, it made me want to shout at both of them. For pete's sake i'm jealous! Can you blame me?

After breakfast we decided to go to play room, where you can play various games that you can see inside. The guys quickly made their way to what they wanted to play. While us girls sat on the coffee corner.

"I love the ost.."

Tiffany started.

"Are you.. I mean been?"

She asked. I was nervous to what she's about to say.

"In love?"

She continued. Well you see, Tiffany didn't know about it. Only the four of us knew about me and Baekhyun's past. Though i'm close to her, we decided to kept it a secret.

"I've been.. Always been.."

I honestly said. Then i looked at Taeyeon, guilt came over me.

"That's cute.. But the song is somehow sad.."

She said and gave me a smile.

"Right! And why the hell i missed that part?"

Tiffany asked and gave me "hurt" reaction.

"Yaaa. Don't be upset.. It's too complicated that time and we choose to keep it."

Although she seemed want to ask more, she understand and keep quiet. She knew well that i'll tell her about it when i'm ready.

"It must have been hard for you.."
