The Flatmate Intervention
Description
Prompt: Lee Hayi has always been ‘one of the guys’, at least—she was never regarded as being a ‘girl’ with her friends. If that’s what she was to call them ‘friends’ anyway—it was more like forced friendship between her university flatmates. But she didn’t have a problem with that, it meant less fuss and they didn’t treat her any differently than they did to the others. It was simple, that’s how she liked things.
However, since the start of the term, they had insisted on having a weekly ‘bonding’ night which was free from work. It was specifically stated in the flatmate agreement—why they needed one in the first place baffled her—that it was an essential for the group to come together, either by airing out grievances like if they didn’t clean up after themselves in the kitchen, looking at you Ten, or just generally goofing around.
But Hayi being the overly studious person she was and a real pushover with her friends, had reluctantly agreed to go on a double date, which just so happened to land on the bonding night. Cue transformation and the boys’ inability to fully process what the hell is going on.
