"Aish. Why do I keep running into this Yasmine girl." Jaejoong complained as he tried to make his escape so that Yasmine wouldn't catch sight of him until he overheard something that caught his attention.
"For the last time, we never dated. Stop falling me around, stalker." Yasmine's ex-boyfriend, William, said out loud for the others to overhear as his current girlfriend, Yuexi, snickered at Yasmine. "Poor girl. She thinks she has a chance with you when you're obviously with me. A politician's daughter. A rich one at that."
Yasmine remained neutral throughout the whole ordeal as she wasn't sure why these two would be acting this way with her when she hasn't done anything to provoke them. Yasmine was honestly minding her own business when the paired had bumped into her and made a scene while she was trying to make an escape.
William continued with his insults while Yuexi would throw some snide remarks every so often. Jaejoong rolled his eyes at the pettiness of this couple and watched as Yasmine continued to just stand there and do nothing. With an annoyed sigh, he intervened while placing an arm naturally around Yasmine's waist causing the female to stare at Jaejoong in surprised.
"There you are, sweetie." Jaejoong said in a calm tone while looking poise. "Who are these lovely people?"
Grim Reaper Serena materializes in front of her assigned person while casually sitting atop the railing of the stairway of the man's home as she observed the older gentleman before speaking. "You've summoned me so how may I assist you?"
The male sat still upon his couch before slowly turning his head to look behind him. He rubbed his eyes and blinked a few times to make sure he was actually seeing some weird person dressed up in a weird outfit in his own home. He just continued to look at Grim Reaper Serena with a blank expression.
Grim Reaper Serena stared at the man in boredom while waiting for him to confirm his acknowledgement of her, but nothing. She sighed before speaking again and repositioning herself on the railing to look at him better. "You go by the username of BrispyDoe on the site called REAPER CORRESPONDENCE, correct?"
The male nodded slowly before feeling something soft and slightly heavy moving upon his lap. He looked down to spot a white cat with a golden halo above its head standing on its hind legs with its forelegs and paws resting on its hips like it was a human being.
"Say something, Stupid. We don't got all day." The white cat spoke in annoyance as it found itself flung across the room and crashing into the wall due to scaring the man. Maofah raised a paw in the direction of the man as he spoke with his face still pressed to the floor. "Let's kill him instead." Maofah's paw then dropped after making his announcement with Grim Reaper Serena shaking her head with a small smile.
"Hey Dad." Ariel greeted her father's tombstone with a sad smile as she placed a bouquet of white lilies upon his grave. "I know I haven't visited you often since my last visit, but things got a bit hectic and time slipped by me without me actually noticing."
She crouched down with her chin lying on her palm that was resting on her thigh as she let out a heavy sigh. " I just wanted to let you know that I'll be going away for awhile and I'm not sure when I'll be back." She let out a sigh while looking upwards so that the tears wouldn't fall. "I, I just can't stay here any longer and I just need to go and leave everything behind me."
After a few seconds she returned her eyes onto her father's grave plate. "It's complicated and you know me. I don't like talking about my feelings. Kind of like you." She chuckled softly as she the engravings of his name. "I'm going to miss you, but I know you're watching over me like you've always done."
Ariel's hand then moved over to rest softly on her stomach as a faint smile appeared on her face. "I promise that I'll come back some day, Dad, when it doesn't hurt as much as I thought it would. For now, I'll be okay like always. That person I know I can always trust."
"Everyone," The Chief Inspector, Angie Hastings, called for the unit's attention as she motioned to the young man, Xukun Cai, beside her, "please let me introduce our new recruit freshly graduated from the Nizho Police Academy as of yesterday." Chief Inspector Angie signaled for the male to introduce himself as Xukun did just that while lifting a h
