Chapter 3 : The letter that started everything

School ended quick and you were at home playing with Spruffles. You fed him your special spaghetti sauce and Spruffles happily ate it the whole plate.
You beamed as you saw his tail wagged happily, *I'm lucky to have one friend.*
Spruffles barked for more and a big smile spread across your face, "Araso. I'll get more." You chuckle as you took his bowl and got up.
*At least Spruffles like me. Both of us eat alot.* You thought and went into the kitchen.
You scooped up the last bowl of spaghetti and gave it to Spruffles, "Eat boy." You chided.
Spruffles happily wolf down on it, you beamed and patted his head. "Good dog."
"~~~~~~~~~~!" Your mother shouted out, you perked up and look for your mom. "Deh?"
"Please help me to deliver this letter to the post office, please?" Your mother asked.
You got up and went over to your mom's side, your mom was busy with her work and you knew that she had no time to deliver her letter.
"Araso." You agreed and took her letter. "Gomawo, please be home soon." Your mom informed.
"Deh." You nodded as you put on your coat and went out.
Humming to a song that was played on your iPod, you took the bus to the post office.
The ride was quite long, since the post office was quite far from where you live.
A few minutes passed and you were sleeping in the bus, until it finally came to a stop. The bus moved as it stopped and you tumbled over.
"Woah." You softly called out as you woke up, startled.
"~~~~~~~~~, this is your stop." The bus driver called out. You got up and squeezed through the crowd that was in the bus, "Ugh! How fat is she?!" You heard some teenage girls talking bad things about you.
You sighed and just squeeze through them, *I'm sorry, but I'm already this fat.*
"Thank you, ahjusshi." You thanked the bus driver as you got off, he just nod and close the door.
You walk to the post office and send in your mom's letter, as you were about to leave, the postman stopped you.
"Oh, wait!" He yelled, you stopped on your tracks and turn to the postman.
"Yes?" You went over.
"There's a letter for you. But, our car broke down today. So, we didn't send it over. And I was about to walked to your house to sent it to your place, but since you came by today I thought it would be easier if you'd just take it now." He beamed as he handed you the letter.
You took the simple white envelope and nod, "Oh." was all you could said.
The postman nod, "Have a nice day."
You walked out of the post office and went to the bus stop for the next bus to come, you read the envelopes address and realised that it was for you.
*Eh? Who would send me a letter? For the first time ...?* Your eyes rounded in surprised and you tear open the envelope.
You pulled out the cologne letter and sniffed it, *Wow. Such a nice cologne smell.* You closed your eyes to admire the scent of it. *I wonder who sent it.* You softly smile and unfolded the letter.
*Oppa...* was the first thing you thought as you finished reading the letter.
It says that he was coming over at the end of the year, after he'd graduated from T.O.P High.
You shot up immediately, "Omo!" You yelled. Some people that were waiting for the bus jumped in surprised.
"Holy! Cool down lady!" Some teenage boys called out, you'd ignored them and just paid close attention to the letter from your long lost best friend.
*He'd finally contact me! He's actually in America now!* You beamed in excitement and your grip on the letter, tightened.
But there was one little sentence that made your smile faded.
'I wish you were still that little cute skinny girl I've loved.'
*Skinny?! I was 6 for goddamnit!* You thought as you crumpled the paper up.
The bus came to a stop and you'd storm past the ahjusshi and to an empty seat, you sat down and sighed loudly.
*I can't believe it! Oppa expects me to be skinny again! I was 6! A little skinny 6 year-old-girl!* You thought and sighed.
You turn the volume up on max and just hope that your favorite musics will take your problems away.
