Once Seonghwa’s meeting ended he went to pick up Yunho and Jongho from work and together the three went to the studio, Seonghwa usually only meetup with Wooyoung if he helped him with any dance events and never the whole dance team so when he figured out that Yeosang was on the team he was quite surprised.

But then again he does recall Wooyoung mentioning someone named Yeosang it just never really crossed his mind yesterday or today.

When they got to the studio the trio got out and walked to the usual practice room, as they got closer there were quite a lot of people but they couldn’t help but smile when they entered the room, it was so lively and warm.

They greeted everyone, Hongjoong was a bit surprised to see Seonghwa and the same goes for Yeosang but after some introductions and brief explanations, it all made sense to them.

Seonghwa helped them work on their choreography, it was quite nostalgic for him, he and Hongjoong were in the dance club in high school so it brought back quite a lot of memories from back then.

Minjoon sat to the side with Jongho and San as the two hadn't joined in with the dancing as Yeosang, Hongjoong, Mingi, and Yunho had joined Seonghwa and Wooyoung.

He watched in awe and the boys danced, it was one thing he always found himself admiring his brother for, his brother was endlessly talented in the music and dance field, he was a bit jealous at times since he wasn’t really good at anything, he always thought his art was his special talent but then Hongjoong got into art and he somehow faded to the back again.

He felt a little useless at times like this but he hid it behind a smile, but during the break, Seonghwa noticed the boy was a little out of it and so did Hongjoong, he wanted to slap himself at that moment, although Minjoon wouldn’t ever say anything he knew his brother well when they were younger Minjoon often spoke his mind and he didn’t hide his feelings from his brother.

But in the end, Minjoon grew up to be someone who hid everything behind a smile and acted like everything was okay.

He didn’t know why but he found himself sending Seonghwa a message.

‘Hwa could you maybe take Joonie for a walk… he probably doesn’t want to see me right now’ - Joong.

Seonghwa was confused at first when he saw the message but when he took a look at Minjoon he noticed that the boy was sitting basically curled up in a ball.

Seonghwa looked at Hongjoong and sent the boy a small nod, “I’m going to buy some drinks, Minjoon do you want to come with me?” Seonghwa asked the boy, who looked up a bit and nodded.

He got up and walked over to Seonghwa, “Sani can send me what everyone wants? We are going to go take a walk first before going to the convenience store” Seonghwa told them and they all nodded in response.

Seonghwa threw his arm around Minjoon’s shoulder and the two left the studio.

“Hyung why did you ask me to come along?” Minjoon asked him curiously.

“You looked sad, I was worried,” Seonghwa told him, hearing that made Minjoon feel even worse, he somehow ended up making Seonghwa worry which he really didn’t want to do.

“Oh… was it obvious?”

“Only if you took a really good look... Is everything okay? You looked excited when I got here, did something happen?” Seonghwa asked him.

“Hyung it’s nothing serious so don’t worry” 

“But I do care for you so worrying about you is natural, so tell me, whatever is wrong it will stay between us” Seonghwa reassured him.

“Hmm, Joong hyung, as much as I love him, sometimes I really dislike him,”  the boy said with a frown.

“Hmm what did Joong do? Should I go back and smack him?” Seonghwa asked in an attempt to make the boy laugh.

“Hyung is really good at everything, even if it’s just his first time doing it he always ace’s it… it makes me feel real… Useless” the boy mumbled the last part but Seonghwa heard him.

He felt his heartbreak into millions of little pieces, there was so much that Minjoon was good at he could tell just by observing him at work but it seemed that the boy had suffered quite a lot.

“You aren’t useless,” Seonghwa said as he pulled the boy into a hug, he felt as if his heart was about to explode, he couldn’t believe he somehow found the courage to actually hug the boy.

“But hyung, nothing I do will ever be as good as Joong hyung”

“Isn’t that a good thing, although it might not turn out as good as Joong’s that doesn’t mean that anything you do will be of less value, everyone shines differently you just need the confidence to yourself to shine in your own way, so don’t be bothered by what Joong does or how he does something, just do it in your own way?” Seonghwa told him and when he broke the hug he was met with Minjoon’s eyes full of tears and a few stray streaks on his cheeks.

Seonghwa smiled a bit and patted the boy’s head and found himself kissing the boy’s forehead, he really wanted to know where all the confidence was coming from.

It surprised Minjoon a little but somehow he didn’t hate it, and he also didn’t hate the hug either, but his heart was beating in his ears and he couldn’t really breathe well.

“Hyung?” the boy asked him.

“Just know that to me, you are so valuable and that you mean more to me than anything in this world even Joong, he might be my friend but somehow I care more for you, so don’t look down on yourself,” Seonghwa said and the boy slowly nodded, a little surprised by the older boys words.

The two eventually walked to the store and bought the drinks, Seonghwa snuck in some ice cream, and on the way back to the studio the two shared it, Seonghwa hoped it would cheer the boy up a little.

When they got back they were all just joking around and having fun. The ones sitting out only a little while ago decided to join and they just played around, Seonghwa pulled Minjoon to join them and taught the boy a lot of the choreography of the song that was playing.

Although the two were so focused on one another they didn’t realize that everyone was looking at them with knowing smiles, it was like watching love unfold right in front of you, Hongjoong and Yeosang couldn’t help but smile because it was the first time they had seen Minjoon so carefree.
