Ever since I was born, I have always loved to dance. My mom told me she enrolled me in dancing as soon as I got stronger on my legs since I would never stop dancing and wriggling around whenever the music was on. Well, it is safe to say that she was right because I still love to dance to this day and I'm already 25 years old! I can't believe that I have become old now… I'm already half-50… anyway! I have always loved dancing and I have always loved to watch other people dance. Especially by joining competitions since I get to dance myself but also watch other people dance. You could say that it was a win-win situation. If I weren't at home or work, you would either find me in a practice room or at a competition where I currently was.

Rena: I'm a little scared seeing you happy like this. In fact, I'm terrified of you right now. Sayaka, please help me.

Sayaka: Now now Rena. Don't be so mean towards- never mind. You are right. You are terrifying right now Jahoon.

Jahoon: Come on you guys. You would be just as excited as me if you got the chance to see your favorite idol, your favorite dancer today.

Rena: You are right but the way you are smiling right now makes me think that I'm going to have nightmares tonight. You never smile this big no matter what exciting thing is going to happen.

Jahoon: Well now I'm not happy anymore.

I looked at Rena with a blank, a bit upset expression. Rena just shrugged while Sayaka patted me on the shoulder with a chuckle. We made our way inside the venue and got ourselves registered at the desk before finally entering the competition. I stretched my neck as far as I could looking over all of the heads in front of me but still, I couldn't spot her. I felt a hand on my head as I got pushed back down.

Sayaka: You are going to sprain a muscle in your neck if you keep doing that. Save your energy and muscle for the competition. You will eventually see her so you can find her after it's all done.

Jahoon: Yes, mom.

I pouted. Sayaka slapped me lightly on my shoulder as Rena laughed but only for a short while since Sayaka glared at her. It was fun to see her like that so I stuck my tongue out at her but was quickly shut down by Sayaka as well. But she was right. I was going to see her on stage eventually. I will just have to keep an eye on her so I don't miss her when everything is over. Right now, I should just focus on preparing myself for the battle. Just as much as I was here to see her, I also was here to win.

MC: Alright, the next dancer on stage is Jahoon! Give her a big applause!

I got on stage with Rena and Sayaka following me from behind. I took some deep breaths to try and calm down my nerves.

MC: And in the other corner, the dancer who is going against Jahoon is… Yumeri! Give her a big applause!

Wait what?! I did hear correctly, right? The MC said Yumeri's name, right? I turned to look at Rena and Sayaka to make sure that I was hearing. They just nodded and placed their hands on my shoulders, turning me around. I couldn't believe it! I was finally going to meet her but not only that I was also going to fight against her in my first round! There was no way that I was coming out of this alive. I felt the breath of Sayaka and Rena on my cheeks and ears but I could barely hear what they were saying due to my shock.

MC: Alright, let's see who is going first… And the dancer is… Yumeri! Are you guys ready?! Fight!

The music went on and Yumeri began to dance. I had to try really hard to refrain from fangirling hard right now. I tried to keep my looks on the outside but to be honest, I was doing tumbles and small silly dances in excitement to see her dance right in front of me. My breath hitched when she got closer to me, like really close, and began laying her hands on me now and then to tease and provoke me. If it had been other dancers then I would have almost swat
