“It’s time for you to shine.” My team leader gave me an encouraging pat on my right shoulder, “When you’re back, a promotion will be promised.”
My name is Jung Daehyun. I work for an underground biotechnology organization AMORE, which researches about a virus that can trigger heartbreak and mental breakdown. My latest mission is to collect information about things that trigger people’s emotions.
When Jung Daehyun thought he was going complete this mission with ease, a person came into his life, throwing all the confidence he used to have out of the window.
"Moon Jongup.” He held out a hand.
“Jung Daehyun.” I shook his hand with a smile.
“You live alone?” I nodded at his question as he continued, “Same. So… would you like to come over for a party? You know… Housewarming party? If I manage to clean up the chaos before 6pm, though, haha.”
"Why not?"
People usually believe that the opposite of love is hate, while he always believed that it was indifference. However, jealousy and pain twisted him and proved the general belief right...
Foreword
This is officially my first serious on-going fic and I hope you'll like it!
I may not be able to update very often but I hope my occasional updates will make you smile ;_;
This is technically a Daejong fic but it is more Daehyun focused as it is written in his point of view.
Don't expect much Daejong parts :x (I've received complaints about the lack of Daejong-ness ><)
Old Foreword:
Firstly, I'd like to announce that this is my first serious on-going fanfic, ever!
I grew up watching films like "Resident Evil" and "I Am Legend", so I've always wanted to create my own biohazard story. However, before I start drowning into my sea of stereotype zombie story ideas, I've decided to write something different from those biohazard stories... while including some love-related elements in it. BOOM! That's when this idea hit me - a love disease. It's not a new thing really, but I hope you will find this story refreshing and different from, at least, other fanfics you can easily find?
Hopefully this will be a three-shot stroy... but who knows lol. Anyway...
If you've read the description, you'll know that this is somehow a DaeUp/Daejong story, but honestly I only wanted to satisfy my own daejong thirst make use of their characters --- Daehyun's confident and calm while Jongup is cute and happy-go-lucky. I hope non-Babys will read this too... It's not really about B.A.P to be quite honest -v-
Additionally, Himchan and Yongguk will have cameo roles in the beginning of the story and I hope you'll like it hehe c:
I really hope you'll all love this fic because I seriously love the storyline and I've planned something really cool lol just because T____T I was going to name this story "The Researcher" but the story went off-track and I thought this title will be more appropriate :D
