Price of a Dream

Description

Twelve years into stardom, Lu Han's carrier has started to hit stagnancy. Fortunately for him, someone is willing to give him the needed boost in the industry. However, can he endure what it will cost him?

Foreword

"Lu Han, right?"

"Yes," the said man answers with a curt nod, clearly feeling annoyed that she couldn't recognize him as the Lu Han, star of Asia. His popularity has dimmed a little in the past few years, but he still has fans all over the continent, including Korea. Yet, this woman acts as if she had never seen him. What a prude. The petite female is probably younger than him for a couple years, yet she emits a haughty aura like that of middle-aged bussinessmen.

"I am Choi Heejung, from the Choi Telecom. You must have heard of us, right?"

Choi Telecom. Of course, who wouldn't have heard if the biggest mobile phone company in the country? But Lu Han knows better than to boost the woman's ego, so he only nods offhandedly. "Yeah."

"I'm offering you to be the brand ambassador of our upcoming product."

Lu Han eyes widen. A mobile phone ads is indeed what his carrier needs right now. He can really use all of its publicity to push his life from stagnancy.

"And while you are at it, what do you feel about starring in Lee Kyungin's movie?"

Lee freaking Kyungin, the biggest name in Korean's silver screen industry. How can she?

"What does it cost me?"

Lu Han knows that such golden opportunity wouldn't present itself in front of him like a free-lunch. He better knows what she is up to.

A smirk is formed on her thin lips. "You are quick in catching things up, Lu Han-ssi. No wonder you can stay in the industry for so long."

Lu Han stays still, unfazed. His manager glances at him worrily but he ignores it.

"I want you to be my boyfriend."
