IU lives in a black world, engulfed in pure darkness. If you hadn't guessed, she's blind. She has been thinking recently about her relationship of nearly a year with this boy that she had met through her best friend. Now that she is about to get cured from her dark world, she thinks of nasty thoughts that may endanger her relationship with her boyfriend.
On the day of her first anniversary with him, she hits him with an attack that he never thought would happen, ever.
Characters
Lee Jieun
A girl who couldn't see since birth. She isn't good at dealing with complicated things and likes to keep things simple. She isn't very optimistic and she's naturally negative in nature due to her experience of life. She is a stubborn girl, but she likes to help others out. She thinks too much and isn't very aware of how others may feel.
Park Sanghyun
A young man who understands that life has its ups and downs. He is smart, clever, and always knows what he's doing. Unlike Jieun, he knows how to deal with complicated situations. He is also fairly optimistic. However, he is very stubborn and stern about his opinions. He doesn't treat people any differently than what he would treat himself. He is caring and sweet as well.

The floor creaked with every step I made toward the back of my room. The world seems new. I tried to force a smile on my face, but it didn't help my feelings. Tears my cheeks. My knees collapsed onto the floor. I curled up into a ball with my arms wrapped around my knees. I screeched his name between every sob. I swept away my tears with the sides of my index fingers. It didn't help much; my eyes became puffy as the tears continued to stream down my face. Like I thought, I wasn't good enough for him.
He was a smart man, but love unexpectedly turned him stupid. When I first met him, it was love at first sight. I was stupid too, but it was because I loved him too much.
I crawled up onto my stool and got out a pen from a mug kept beside my desk. I slid a piece of paper underneath my hands. This letter is not to apologize to him. In the past I would have, but I realize that he wouldn't like it. My tears seemed to pause in time. A smile hit my face. Instead I want to thank him in this letter that he would be able to receive but unable to read. With my confused hands and writing like a grade-schooler, I give him three words.
I hate you.
