Oh Sehun. The name that carved uniquely in my heart. The name that plants itself deep inside that very organ of mine.

“Mama, are we seeing papa today?” That daughter of ours asked. Oh Seri, she’s still at the age of four but I can assure you that she’ll grow up prettily. She has her father’s eyes; small but definitely adorable. I squatted down to join her playtime. It’s a must for me to spend time with her. Toys were tidily set on the floor and she was ready to teach me ‘how to cook’.

“Yes, we will, darling. We’ll go after you teach me how to cook spaghetti.” I reached for her soft and supple cheek to give a slight pinch. Poor girl she is. She wasn’t even a year old when her dad left her. Not for other woman, not for money, not for work, but he left the world because he needed to protect me.

The thought of Sehun, even for awhile, it was enough for my eyes to brim with tears. I silently wiped my tears with the back of my hand and sniffed. My intention was to not let my daughter knew about me crying but being the worst liar ever, she knew.

“Mama, don’t cry.” I pulled her closer for a hug. I wanted to cry my eyes out but not in front of her. She cannot know how weak her mama is.
