Okay soooooo basically I've been getting quite a few prompts lately and well the prompts are starting to get a little...

Well

So I thought I'd lay down some guidelines for you guys to have a look at so that you have a better idea of what kind of prompts are better suited for the reel

BASICALLY:

1) If it's long enough that you can't fit it all within the character limit on twitter, tumblr or ask.fm, it's not a prompt anymore.

2) If it's too detailed, then you haven't left me enough room to properly work with it.

3) If you give me elaborate character accounts that don't fit the C&W canon personalities whatsoever, then I can't write it.

Example of a GOOD prompt:

Sehun and Jongin have a fight over whose boyfriend is better. Sweet and short, and gives me ample room to write the characters doing and saying things that more closely resemble their personalities and generally just gives me more reign to kick-start my creative juices.

Chanyeol buys Baekhyun a puppy as their third-year anniversary gift because he thinks it'll remind Baekhyun of him. Baekhyun is appalled at first and won't take the puppy (because he thinks it's a serious step in their relationship) but then he realizes he's serious about Chanyeol and that he shouldn't worry so he decides to keep the pup and name him Guppy. This is a bit longer, but it's focused in a way that allows me to understand that you have a general storyline/ending in mind, and I can still very easily work my way around it, so these are perfectly acceptable as well.

Example of a BAD prompt:

OT12 go to the zoo and Jongdae goes to see the penguins because he's obsessed with penguins after watching Happy Feet and his newfound dream is to journey to the Arctic and live with the penguins and study them for the rest of his life meanwhile Kris buys ten corndogs from the zoo restaurant and he doesn't care that they're hella overpriced because wow who doesn't like corndogs and then Kyungsoo wants to visit the giraffes because his intense childhood complex over his height and his secret wish to be taller is being expelled and projected onto the watching of the giraffes and blah blah blah the prompt goes on and on to explain what each and every member does that includes past present and future tidbits and details and holy for the love of god please don't do this

This isn't a prompt; this is a very detailed story line that is a completely seperate fic all on its own, and is in no way connected to the canon characters anymore. If you send me a prompt giving me very elaborate instructions on what the characters are meant to do, especially when they do not fit the C&W canon personalities whatsoever, it's probably worthy of being a fic completely seperate from the C&W universe

I cannot stress how many prompts I've gotten that have the members do things that are completely unrealistic in terms of what their characters would actually do

These rules are going to be re-posted on the foreword just so you guys can see it when you submit your prompts
