Key blinked away the tears in his eyes as he watched his friend being pulled away by a strecher.
Just moments before, he was about to confess his love to him.  Just a few moments after that an unstable pillar collapsed and all Key could hear was Taemin's cry for help.
  Now Jonghyun was running over. "Key, what happened?" "A pillar collapsed on him," he replied his voice quivering.
Onew was standing talking to the paramedics. When they finished, he walked back to Key, Jonghyun, and the newly arrived MinHo. He opened his mouth to say something and Onew cut him off. "A pillar collapsed. The paramedics say he might live, but he might not remember us." Key let a tear slide down his cheek. He walked away thinking, 'Now I'll never know what could've been. He won't remember me. Dammit! I was so close!'  The next day, Key  was getting ready to go to the hospital when he heard footsteps behind him. "Key! Key, wait!" Onew called. "No." was Key's simple answer.
   He got in his car and drove to the hospital. "Hi, um, I'm here to visit Lee Taemin." "Lee Taemin... I'm sorry but.. he's... dead...." Key's eyes filled with tears and he blindly ran all the way back to his car. When he reached the car, it started to rain, as if the world was grieving with him. He got in the driver's seat and laid his head on the steering wheel and cried.
Once he headed back to his apartment he went to the kitchen's and continued crying.  And that, is where he stayed until Jonghyun found him.
