He felt the tiredness all over his body, especially the knot on his nape. It was like his head was going to fall off any moment due to the stiffness. Working for hours with piles of work with lack of rest made him feeling himself like an old man.

Nearly midnight and he was still in his black sedan car driving by himself trough the deserted road and hoped that he would reach his condo by less than minute. Passing out on his bed sounded like a good plan. Regret played on his mind for not calling his driver, but then, it's already late.

The nail of the speedometer pointed the number of 40 and it moved down as he stepped on the brake, proceeding to take a turn when suddenly a blinding light came on his view. The next thing he knew was he jerked on his seat. His car moved out of his control after the strong impact and it hit something else that was the last for it to stop.

Pain burned his system. Head throbbed and he could feel a thick liquid trailing down him temple. Blinking couple of times to clear his cloudy vision, silently he felt thankful that he was still alive. With the remaining strength that he had, he opened the door and went out from the suffocating room.

His legs wobbled supporting his body that he leaned on his broken car. He could see smoke from the engine trunk that seemed to blur his mind as well.

On the other side of the road, there was a SUV car with worst condition than his. The front part was completely broken with the front glass cracked.

Collecting his strength together, he walked to the car only to find a man and a woman left with concerning state unconsciously. But then, on the back seat, there was this small creature with round beautiful dark orbs staring on his, before she shows her two tiny front teeth and her two small limbs reaching for him.

This story is based on romance, slice of life, and slightly fantasy.
