"Smile!"

Cameras flash multiple times as Kris doesn't change his expression, maintaining the same poker face he always has. It never mattered, though, because he would sell just as well as a model with expressions. And even if it did, he had already made millions. 

Beyond the cameras, Kris can sense pairs of eyes lingering on his body. He doesn't flinch.

"Alright, that's enough for today. Let's wrap it up, guys." Kris' manager and friend, Kyungsoo says to the staff. "Good job today, Kris." Kyungsoo beams, and Kris nods.

"Thank you," Kris' deep voice reverberates as he proceeds to loosen the tie on the outfit he is currently sporting. Much too tight. 

"Is it getting too hot?" Kyungsoo's words are genuine as worry is etched on his face. 

"Yes, but it doesn't bother me."

"Do you even sweat?"

"No, I never have." Kris turns to Kyungsoo and gives a light pat on his shoulder. "I'll be off now, see you tomorrow."

Kyungsoo nods, but frowns at the contact. "Your hands are always cold."

"It's fine." Kris waves it off, leaving his manager behind and bowing to the staff. It's not just my hands.

"Haa.. Haa.." 

Endless pants are being released, leaving Yixing gasping for air as he runs, runs, runs toward the bleeding sunset.

"Please.." Yixing continues to run until his lungs ache. "Please don't.." He is forced to stop and drops to the ground, his face growing more pale as the seconds go by. 

He turns to look back, and is relieved to find that no one is longer chasing after him with fury in their eyes.

Yixing fears for his life and doesn't have the courage to fight back. If I had tried, I would only get a worse suffering.

Feelings of anguish flooded his mind. Yixing is painted in red, from head to toe.

He sees himself being beaten to a pulp by both his parents. Fists, belts, knives.. Whatever Yixing's parents could find, they would beat him with. 

"Please.. I was wrong.. Please forgive me.." He sees himself helplessly whimpering to his parents, who ignore his protests and proceed to whip him. Blood spreads across his pale skin and his clothes get ripped up. 

He laughs maniacally, with flashy colours appearing everywhere he turned when he starts running again to get away. I've lost my mind.

Yixing hears people gasping and kicking him aside as his eyes close and he collapses onto the concrete ground.

It's okay, I'm used to this.
