Pursuit to Lost Love
Description
He was naive back then. And maybe, still is. He was hoping that the promise they've made twenty years ago is still embedded in his first love's heart and mind. Because that promise sealed with innnocent feelings was the only thing he's holding on until now.
Foreword
"Mom said we'll be going to America again for Dad's job." Little Kibum murmurs as he prepares his sand castle.
"Then let's just see each other again and get married so we'll be together forever!" Little Jonghyun cheers up his best friend because his heart hurts whenever his Kibummie is sad.
"But what if we'll be apart for a long time?" Four year old Kibum asks as he stared at the boy before him, his current building of sand castle forgotten as he waits for the other's reply.
"It's okay, as long as you have me here," Jonghyun points to Kibum's mind, "and here." And then to his heart.
"Okay." Kibum smiles, and little Jonghyun was once again reminded of how much he likes this boy in front of him.
He's so pretty.
"It's settled then. When we grow up, we're going to marry each other!" Jonghyun excitedly concludes before placing a small kiss on Kibum's cheeks, much like how his father does to his mother every morning.
Kibum's eyes widened. "What's that?"
"It's a promise kiss. don't go giving it to others, okay?"
"Hm-mmm." Kibum hummed, feeling happy at receiving something from his best friend.
"I really like you alot."
A/N: I really hate myself for starting this but I can't help it, you know? I'm so sorry. This idea has been bothering me since last year and still a cliché one (what's new? XD) I'll try to be a better author next time.
