Worlds Apart

The next few days passed, and the two of them grew close. He told her about life in Korea, leaving out the part about him being an idol. She liked him for who he was, not because of his fame. She didn't care whether he was a bum, or a normal person, or a rich kid. She wasn't the type to judge, or the type to pry. She was a breath of fresh air to him, and he was so thankful now for being able to have met her.

They always met at the beach, but they almost never stayed there. She took him all over Sydney, and the area surrounding it. He started to see the world through her eyes. It was as if he had been reborn, and now every color was more vibrant, and every aspect of nature was more beautiful. The world in general was beautiful to him.

Today would be no exception to the routine. He waited for her patiently by the tidepools at which their first adventure had been initiated. He hummed softly to himself a tune as he stood there. He breathed in the scent of the saltwater air, and smiled. He could feel it in his bones that today was going to be a good day. Then again, it always was when he was spending a day with her. What had she done to him? He used to be the guy that all the girls would faun over. That y G-Dragon that would have a girl draped over each arm. People looked up to him, they respected him. He was...For lack of a better word, a player. He was used to having girls handed to him to play with. But...Tawnee...She made him want to work for it. He wanted her. Not her , but her company. He loved having her around. He loved the way she made him feel genuinely happy, even more so than being on stage.

"Yah, oppa~" She chuckled as she tapped him on his shoulder, using the honorific he'd taught her yesterday. She was a fast learner. He his heel to face her, his face lighting up just at the sight of her.

"You know, you don't have to call me Oppa." He said softly, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear. "In fact, I'd almost rather that you didn't. It sounds so cute coming from you...But....It's too formal." It wasn't only the formalty, it was also that he didn't want her to become like the other girls who screamed for him on a regular basis. Oppa! Oppa! Oppa! It gets annoying after a while.

"Alrighty then~" She laughed, grabbing his arm. "Come on! I've got a surprise for you today!" She said excitedly as she dragged him to her car, jumping in. There was no surfboard in the back as usual, however, there was a picnic basket and a guitar. She played guitar? He learned something new about her everyday.

"A surprise you say?" He asked with a slight smirk, raising both eyebrows, and widening his eyes a bit.

"Ah, yeah." She started the car, and pulled out of her parking spot. "I'm sure you'll love it."

They drove for about an hour before Tawnee pulled to the edge of the road, and parked her car. They were on a road that was rarely used, so it was no big deal. She got out of the car, then went to retrieve her things from the back seat. "Come on Jiyong." She called with a chuckle. "Stop being such a slow poke, we're losing precious sunlight here!"

"Yeah yeah. Stop nagging me woman." He muttered as he peeled himself away from the seat of the car. "I feel lazy. You should carry me to wherever it is we're going to." He said, his tone serious, however it was obviously he was only joking.

"Pft. You wish." She walked past him, jumping over the small ditch that separated the road from the plain on the other side. "You coming?" She called back to him as she walked on, heading into the forest. He then realized that he'd been staring at her. He shook his head, then jogged to catch up with her.

"Where are we going?" He asked curiously. She didn't reply to him though, and she just kept walking.

She stopped when she came to a creek. The lighting of the place was good. Bright, but not blinding. The light was tinted slightly green, due to the leaves. She spread the blanket on the ground, then sat down, looking at the water. She looked up at him and smiled. "Do you like it?" She asked with an innocent smile. She bit her lip a bit, hoping that he would say yes. She'd spent some time looking for a spot like this, and she thought he'd love somewhere like this.

"I love it." He said warmly as he sat next to her, wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her closer. He reached out with his free hand, and opened the picnic basket. "What do we have here hm?" He asked quietly, peeking inside, and pulling out a bag of chips.

"Oh, it's just lunch." She chuckled, reaching in and pulling out the bottle of red wine that she'd also brought. "And some refreshments. You're not one of those lame people that refuses to drink are you?"

"Ah, I don't have a problem with alcohol." He chuckled, taking the bottle from her, and fishing around in the basket until he found the corkscrew. He effortlessly opened the bottle, then pulled out the plastic cup's she'd brought. Most people would frown upon drinking wine out of something other than a wine glass. But Jiyong couldn't help but to smile, finding the cups to be kind of charming in some odd way.  He poured them both a cup, and took a sip of the crimson liquid.

They sat like that for a while, silently enjoying eachother's company, and the taste of the wine. No words needed to be exchanged to keep the moment from being awkward. They were both content. Once she'd finished her wine, Tawnee leaned back so that she could look at him closely. The shape of his jawbone, the way his lips curved. He was gorgeous. She'd never tell him that though. That would only help fuel his massive ego.

He seemed to finally notice her staring at him, and turned to face her. "What is it?"

"Ah, nothing. I was just thinking~"

"About what?" His eyebrow shot up curiously.

"Oh nothing, just how nice it is out."

"You know.." He began, a smirk blooming across his features. "You shouldn't lie to me Tawnee."

"I wasn't-"

"Then why is there a blush on your face?" He cut her off.

She put a hand to her cheek, and sure enough, it was on fire. She pursed her lips and turned her head away from him. "It's a sunburn." She said stubbornly.

"Liar~" He cooed. His voice was so close to her ear, that she couldn't help but to turn a deeper shade of red.

"Hey!" She said, playfully pushing him away. "Don't do stuff like that!" She laughed.

He looked at her for a while, then leaned in close. "Hey..." He started.

"Mmm?"

"Can you do something for me?" He asked, biting his lip a bit.

"Yeah sure, anything." She sat up a bit on her elbows, looking at him with concern. "Why? What's up?"

"Can you...Not get mad at me?"

"Why would I get ma-" Her eyes widened as she was silenced with the feeling of his lips on hers. She closed her eyes, and slowly laid on her back again, wrapping her arms around him as he moved with her. He tasted like heaven. Wine, and mint, and...another taste she couldn't describe. He tasted like Jiyong. The essence of him was crisp, yet intoxicating. Invigorating. She pulled him closer to her, running her fingers through his hair with a feathery light touch.

He pulled back a bit and looked down into her eyes. There was a silence between them. She couldn't help but to wonder if this was actually his actions, or if it were the alcohol making him act out. She knew how he was. She'd been able to see how he was with girls, and he'd also told her about his personality in the past few days. She was confused, and it showed. With a sigh, Tawnee placed her hand on his chest, and started to push him away. "GD..."

"No." he said softly, grabbing her wrist, and pulling it up to his cheek. "Don't push me away..."

"But I...How do I know you're not just drunk?" She asked, a frown tugging at the corners of .

"Because I hardly drank anything." He said, sighing as he ran one hand through her hair. "You're so beautiful...You know that?"

"I'm not."

"But you are!" He said, his eyes widening a bit in disbelief that she didn't see what made her so gorgeous in his eyes. "You're indepenent, and athletic, and you're so ing pretty Tawnee. You're gorgeous!" He spoke quickly, desperately trying to explain to convince her. "You're so pretty..."

"This coming from the man who got his kicked by me the first day I met him?" She asked in confusion, raising an eyebrow.

"That..." He rolled onto his back, and looked up at the trees. "I hated you at first. But then...When you first took my hand...When you showed me all of this," He paused to gesture to the scene around them. "I saw you, and how you really were." He rolled onto his side. "Tawnee, you know me. It's been so short of a time, but you know me better than anybody else. The real me...I'm...I'm not a one girl kind of guy...But god damn...You make me want to be." He took note of her shocked expression, and sighed, flopping onto his back again. "I'm an idiot."

"Why me?" She asked softly.

"I don't know." He said honestly. "It's just you."

She sat up, and took his hand in hers, leaning in and kissing him lovingly. "Well then...Let's see where this goes then." She said with a blush, and a quirky smile.

Is this a lame chapter? Sorry if it seems like the story's moving too fast, but the main point isn't about what goes on in austrailia. I don't know how long this story's really going to be either...

Anyways, I hope you like it. Leave me your feed back.
