Description
Jessica, born a genius, was infamous for being the 'anti-social' among her peers as she severely lacked emotional intelligence, driving away everyone around her. But when her deskmate’s curious death ruled out as suicide, Jessica's shallow understanding of others' feelings, became deeper as she investigated her friend's true cause of death.
Foreword
A huge reboot. Different plot, but nearly the same background for several characters.
This time centering around Jessica’s journey of uncovering the 'cold-case' of her deskmate 'suicide' death while being a ˹ detached ˼ person herself.
Instead of being unemotional and lacked even the basic understanding of human emotions, Jessica is a genius suffering a severe case of emotional detachment due to her inability to understand other people emotions. Add that with the brain trauma that caused her brain to have difficulties on processing complex emotions.
So no, Jessica wasn't completely unemotional. She could smile genuinely, feel sadness, anger, and basically like any other people.
