Note: This is short angsty story with a happy ending. Hats off to the author who portrayed the raw emotions of Xiao Xing Chen and Xue Yang in a wonderful way.

I am back after a long time. It isn't that I lost interest in MDZS/CQL fanfics, just that I became quite lazy lately. Also I myself started writing fanfics for this fandom so, I got distracted by that.

Chapter 34: So like this fic was good but sometimes the story line was stodgy and a bit rushed. I felt there were a lot of O.C moments to the characters and that the author took a lot of liberties in their reactions and feelings.
