“So, let’s start with a dilemma…” I say while I ridiculously stare at my files and my notes.
“Are you testing me?” the gorgeous girl in front of me asks with a playful tone.
“Kind of… (short silence) Anyways, this is an easy professional problem you can be sure that you’re going to face in your career as a CEO.” I professionally answer.
“Okay…”
“Well, imagine yourself managing your company.”
“Easy…” she says chuckling
“Don’t interrupt me,” I said coldly, she just laughs. A silent and gracious laugh, resembling more a giggle than an honest and loud laugh like mine… I clear my throat, interrupting my thoughts and resume my speech:
“As I was saying, imagine yourself directing your company. You have thousands of people working for you. They all depend on you and the administration. The problem is that administration employees are not working well, and some are not working at all. What do you do?”
“I fire them. They’re just a waste of the company’s money.” She says with total aplomb.
“You’re not firing them.”
“Why?” she asks, visibly surprised
“You can’t fire them just like that, lack of work is difficult to prove. You risk a scandal and protests. It’s too risky”
“Oh well, then I politely recommend to each of those who work worst to resign, and I give them an additional month salary.”
“That works, it’s pretty smart actually. Personally, I just talk to them and motivate them to work better.”
“You’re too soft.” She seriously states
“Is that a bad thing, though?” I ask her in a serious tone.
Author POV:
The rest of the class went silent as Mina was quietly answering the test’s questions on a paper Nayeon prepared for her while the young teacher was busy with some files for her company. They were comfortable in that jasmine scent that engulfed them in a pleasant and soothing silence.
Mina delicately placed her pen next to her filled papers. That is when Nayeon decided to break that balsamic and safe quietness:
-Thank you.
-For what?
-For not being too awkward with me.
-Why do you say that?
-I’m going to be your coach for 2 years, you know. Nayeon avoids the question with some information
-That’s a lot…Wait. I’m finishing college next year…?
-Your father wants you to have some help in your first year… So…
-Ah. Ok. Guess we’re gonna stick together for a long time…
-Yeah.

The week passes quickly. Nayeon teaches thrice a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). She sees Mina in every single class and can’t help staring at her sometimes… She can’t wait for Monday, the day when she teaches her again… Mina intrigues her, she is so mysterious… Nayeon knows nothing about her except that she is Myoui heir, that she is stunning and with a double personality shy-bold… But, who Mina really is? She asks herself. No answer.
Nayeon POV:
Today is Sunday. Kurt invited me to a little date so we can properly catch up. So, here I am, waiting for him, in a pink café, too pinkish for my taste… The t
