Three Weeks Later...

Friday

Yeji looked between Jungkook and Saerom, they were all at the lunch table, the two of them sat across from each other, and Yeji was beside Saerom. Yeji couldn't help but notice how the two of them kept looking at each other--it was quite amusing to see how they missed each other's stares by mere seconds. Yeji had noticed the way the two of them acted for a while now, but within the past three weeks it had become even more noticeable. At least to her and Jimin, it seemed that the two others had no idea of the small changes. 

But of course these were all just Yeji's theories, she'd yet to bring up the topic of Jungkook to Saerom. The only other person Saerom had had those shared looks with was Taehyung. It was always hard to open yourself up to new people after dramatic incidents. The fact that Saerom was even friends with Jungkook was amazing in Yeji's eyes. So she'd let everything play out, it didn't matter how slowly or fast it happened. She didn't want to get involved in something as personal as who Saerom trusts. So she'd watch with a happy smile. 

"My grandma said you guys were coming over for dinner again." Jungkook looked up to Saerom's face, just as her eyes flickered up to meet his. "Yeah, my mom said she'd meet us at your house." Her mom was on a tight schedule and would already be slightly late to the dinner. Jungkook nodded, "Do you want to walk home together?" He asked. "Yeah." The small exchange ended with them both having smiles on their faces.

"Do I have something on my face?" Saerom asked. She couldn't help but notice Jungkook looking at her on their way back home, she wasn't always oblivious. Jungkook's face grew a light shade of pink, "Oh, uh, yeah." He had to stop himself from face palming. Saerom's hand shot up to her face, "Where?" She asked as she wiped her hand everywhere on her face, hopefully she didn't break out because of it. Jungkook has no idea what came over him, but his index finger made its way to her slightly chubby cheeks, "There." The look of shock that was on his face, even though it was his own action, made Saerom burst out laughing. "You made me think there was seriously something, jerk." She tried to scowl but it just looked funny on her face now. 

"It's so cold," she shivered. It almost seemed like Autumn was just skipped over, but in reality it was only October. Saerom stuck her hands into the pockets of her jacket. Jungkook rolled his eyes, "You should have worn a coat, the jacket isn't going to do much." He scolded her. Saerom tilted her head with a wide smile, "If you're worried, you can give me your coat." Jungkook scoffed, but it sounded more like he was trying to hold back his laughter. Wordlessly, he put his hand out into the air between them. Saerom's eyes flickered from h
