Born a century earlier, Joohyun had led a simple life. Content with everything that has been provided for her. She is complete. 

Almost.

Except for the hollow pit that lies deep within her.

Her heart ached deeply. Intuitive as she is, everyday she searched for an answer to her loneliness. 

She found herself sitting with a shaman, reading through her timeline, seeking to feed their curiosity. 

The strange woman danced with the spirits and chatted through incantations. Once done, she announced to her,

"Thrones & Crowns. Magnetic. A chronicle." She waits for her to make sense of all her cryptic words.

"He waited for you a century ago. He is left with no choice but to wait for you in another lifetime a century from now.”

“Your paths had crossed once. Severed and cursed to miss each other, never to meet again."

Joohyun frowns at the pain of knowing she has to keep living with desolation for years. She thinks of the emptiness she left behind. She cannot fathom having to live with this ordeal. She refuses to accept such fate. She asks the shaman for something, anything to straighten out this mess. She hands a hefty amount hoping for some vindication.

A talisman is what she got in return.

“Through this, you will be on a journey. A borrowed time. Find him. Do what you must to be with him. However, all of this expires the moment people start doubting you do not belong to their era. Stay low, you will find him.”
