Unbound Me
It was pitch black everywhere, Sana had been running in the endless darkness for god knows how many minutes. Exhaustion taking over her body, sweat dripping from her temple and neck. Her legs had become wobbly due to the pressure she had put into running here and there.
But there's no avail.
Somewhere in her mind she knew, no matter how much she'd try to run away from this creepy place, she would end up standing in front of this run down castle, like every other time. It was like a damn circle, no matter how many twists and turns she would take, she would be returning at the same spot every single time.
She presumed the place in front of her as a castle because of it's humongous size. She could only make out it's gigantic dimensions from it's silhouette as the place didn't provide any sort of light other than the light from distant dimmed moon.
"Save me..." Sana's whole body got covered with goosebumps when the familiar deep, velvety voice pierced through her whole body, resonating like a dull mantra in her ears.
Just like every other time, she couldn't stop herself from walking towards the castle, it was as if her limbs were destined to go there no matter how much reluctance her mind would show. She walked through the rocky uneven path without even flinching, she walked until she was just in front of the door, the first time she couldn't pin point any structure due to the darkness in the surrounding, but now she was habitual to this routine, so she she knew it was the large oak door of this place.
As if the door memorized her presence, it creaked opened without having her to make any sort of noise. The loud screeching sound of the seemingly old doors made her cringe as always. Sana found herself stepping inside, taking a known route even though it wasn't humanely possible to make out any sort of way in this immense dark place.
"You're finally here." The similar voice now whispered in her ears, his voice booming through her ears from left to right, right to left. Her heart could never not thrum uncontrollably whenever his hushed voice would greet her inside the castle. Out of habit, Sana whipped her head here and there, not that she wanted to see the face of the person, she wasn't even sure if he was any person or not, she just wanted to stay cautious so that she could stay as far as possible from the owner of the deep yet creepy voice.
"Come, come near me. Only you can free me.." Now the voice spoke from the front, a little louder than whisper, Sana could never miss thin hint of tremble in his voice whenever he would speak. "Unbound me..."
Sana's whole body trembled in fear at the eerie stupor of this place, yet she didn't know why, everytime she would feel like someone needed her help, badly. She was afraid and pitiful towards the owner of the voice at the same time.
"Free me..." The voice boomed through the tall ceilings of the old castle, making the goosebumps in her body more prominent, a chilled shiver running down her spine.
"W-Who are you?" Sana was astonished at her own voice. In the prior times, she could never form a single word from , it was as if someone had numbed her ability to speak. But this time, she could swear she heard her own voice. "Who are you?" She screamed, louder, clearer, mostly to decipher whether she was actually able to speak here or it was a hopeless hallucination of her mind.
Her heart almost stopped when she heard footsteps. It never happened before. Why was there so many unusual happenings t
