"Dear ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to Tonight's Show of Jazz bar!" Bora said making the audience clap in anticipation. "Thank you all for coming tonight, this is an honor for me, the manager of Jazz Bar, as today will be an important show for everyone." Bora continued confidently. "It has been 5 months, since this bar came alive and today is one of our most anticipated shows. Well, guessing by looking at the ecstatic faces of our guests." 

The audience chuckled, feeling amazed by their host, who also is the current owner and manager of this place. She gave an eloquent speech and interacted with them, answering their inquiry in jest.

Time passed by quickly for the people in the bar. Bora looked at the clock, 'It is time'. She cleared and spoke through the mic.

"Everybody, I cannot delay it any further. Tonight's Jazz Bar show will now commence. Dear guests, I present to you, Yoohyeon Hepburn!" Bora applauded and stepped down on stage to let the performance flow according to practice.

The lights went out and the spotlight gave a bright circular light to the center of the red curtain covering the back of the platform. A woman waited patiently behind this curtain with her wearing the readied apparel, holding the mic firmly. Yoohyeon plastered a smile on her face, but she felt nothing as usual, she did not feel cheery, nor was she thrilled about it. 

She felt empty, but continued to mask it with a smile to hide this feeling from strangers.

The curtains finally opened, revealing the backup singers positioned with their mics on the right side of the stage, while the band held their instruments tightly on the other side. They were smiling with joy and confidence, unlike a certain person, standing in the middle of it all. Her right hand placed on the mic, with her left holding her cartwheel hat downwards.

Once the band began playing their sound, singers swayed their hips following this familiar rhythm. Yoohyeon began to feel the music and prepared her voice to sing...

- For, 

"Darling,

Please call me with your voice

Softly tickle my ears and heart

Morning to night, holding you tight

Here, inside my mind 

My eyes are only for you"

She looked at the audience and is pleased to see them entertained by her. She felt a little spark in her, a once enjoyable spark that happily accompanied her throughout her past self. 'I guess it's okay to have fun myself, atleast only for tonight.' 

She flirted and teased the people sitting in front, many men were smiling so widely that their wives kept smacking the husbands shoulder for their obvious drooling.

"Look up to the sky 

So far, I can't say hi

I'm still reaching for the memories

that are fading, fading"

The band switched the tempo and singers harmonized with each other to make an ear candy of a melody. She closed her eyes, focusing on the song and perfecting every note with ease.

"On the radio playing our favorite song

Say the things that I need,

Wish I could hear it from you."

She was beguiling, and it enchanted them. Her voice sounded like heaven to their ears, melting their eardrums with sweet honey vocals.

"Baby, please don't leave me

This night is long and lonely so,

Put everything aside, hug me ana jweo"

Yoohyeon danced with simple hand gestures, and her coquettish movements using the mic? Oh how everyone gazed at her appearance. She was sultry, beautiful, graceful, and attractive in their eyes. Women were in awe, but held envy for her breathtaking aura and striking looks.

"Baby, don't leave me

Only you can make me feel so alive

Take all of my love."

The performer removed her hand from the mic and walked backwards slowly, holding her gaze with crowd. She danced and danced, just like how she practiced. Intricate movements was what she showed, it was detailed, complicated and wonderful.

As she continued to move her body, she stopped. She was neither facing the crowd nor anyone...

but a woman on the side if the stage coming closer, wearing the dancer's suit. It was her...

Minji Walker, her forbidden hidden lover

'What is she doing here? Is she my partner? confusion and fear was all that she could feel at this moment. The possibility of their secret getting exposed, in front of this large crowd terrified her. She could not let herself and her lover be labeled as a dyke, a "Lady Lover". She did not care if she would suffer from the consequences of their love, but it would deeply hurt her if Minji was to also suffer from what she started in the first place.

Minji, who was wearing a mask walked until she was only a step away from Yoohyeon. She offered her hand while bowing, waiting for Yoohyeon to hold her hand. After much hesitation, she held Minji's hand gently before also bowing. And just like that they started to dance.

It was going well, they were in sync and chemistry can be felt through their touch and eye contact, almost as if they were destined to be partners for this. It was a surprise that no one in the audience have noticed that she was dacing with a woman and not a man. She felt relieved knowing that this performance can be finished smoothly.

They were now holding each other, their feet were touching, both hands holding the other. Even their eyes only looked at one another, eyes dripped honey staring and drowning in each other. The performance was nearing it's ending.

"Sometimes under the moonlight

looking for your shadow 

Where are you? 

In this fairytale, It's up to us how it ends"

And they kept turning and turning, not once did they feel uncomfortable with their close proximity and how they can feel their breaths from the other, it made them flushed but happy knowing they both enjoyed what they did. 

It felt as if the audience, their families, heck the whole world can come between them! Oh how they could feel their love bringing wonders and inspiration to those who want to love, sharing their beautiful story to let everyone know of them. 

And to end the dance, Minji got down on one knee and offered a hand, making a pose as if she was professing that she truly loved her so dearly. Yoohyeon who was supposed to look away and act as if she was a shy woman like in the original, decided to change it and hold Minji's hand instead.
