Surprise 🎇
YOU ARE MY DESTINY
Dara's POV:
Why am I so sad? Am I sad for leaving this place? Who am I kidding? I’m disappointed since I won’t be able to see him again. It was my last chance today to find him if I go to view the firework, but I can’t go. I have to go with my family to my dad’s farewell celebration. That's why I’ve come here. If we are tied by a string of fate, we will undoubtedly meet one day.

Let’s get ready for the celebration now. Yet I haven’t decided which dress to wear. Durami came into my room to check which dress I had decided on so that we wouldn’t repeat the same colour. The black one is too simple, the white one is too short, the light blue one has spaghetti straps, and the one is too y. I think the red one is perfect—not too fancy, short, or revealing. Now that my dress is final, I’ll simply clip my hair and put on some makeup, and I am ready to go.

Naval Base:
I used to visit this campus daily, but now it’s different; we’re guests. We were greeted with a bouquet. The program began with Captain Jung's welcome speech, followed by a few other staff members sharing their experience working with dad, and then it was dad’s turn to share his experience, his growth from Captain to Vice Admiral, advice for the incoming officers, and a thank you speech.
Then it was dance time, as dad was the guest of honor. Music was started it was right song for Mom and Dad Every Day (I Love You More)By Jason Donovlan The first dance was his with mom, and then I had to dance with him. After some time, it was Durami's turn. I love dancing with my dad.
But there’s something unusual about today's atmosphere. I’m not sure what it is, but I sense it. I’ve been to lots of parties over here. I can’t find the right word to describe the look on the faces of the new officers. When Durami stopped dancing, I called her and asked her if there was something on my face. As the officers continue to stare at me, and then they make some comment among themselves. She told me not to worry. I was looking pretty, as always. Boys will always be boys; just ignore them.
The music was changed. Uncle Kim approached me and asked for a dance, so I joined him on the dance floor. While dancing, we had small talk, like he would be missing me and I should visit him when I came to Jiahae.
Captain Lee eventually took me from Uncle Kim and told me that I was looking very beautiful, which is why all the officers were staring at me. Then suddenly, from somewhere, Jiyong came in front of me. I am shocked to see him here. He is looking completely different; his head is shaved. I still can’t believe he’s in the Navy.
"Captain can I have a dance with this beautiful lady?" Captain Lee stop dancing and patted my hand assuring me it was Ok.
“Okay, let's start fresh." He offers me a handshake. I shake his hand, and again, his touch starts tingling in my body.
He introduces himself: "Hi! I am Lt. Kwon Jiyong, and it’s a pleasure to meet you.”
I giggle and reply, "Hi! I am Sandara Park. Nice to meet you, Lt. Kwon Jiyong." We both smiled at each other. For a few seconds, we were only gazing at each other.
The music was changed. He asked in a husky voice, "May I have this next dance?" I widen my eyes and look at him. He is behaving very strangely today; I've never seen him behave like this in our last two encounters. He is making me feel so special. My heart is pumping in my chest.
“C'mon, Sandara. I know you dance well!" I looked at him and hesitated for a moment, but I eventually took his hand. He put my hands on his shoulders, and then his han
