The weather is gloomy and so is Winter. 

Kakatapos lang umulan that afternoon and the weather is cold kaya balot na balot si Winter habang nakasimangot at nakatayo sa harap ng pinto ni Karina. 

Taeyeon knocked and the owner was quick to open it as if waiting just behind the door for quite a while now. “Ate Taeyeon, Winter, hi!”

“Dropping my puppy off, balik mo ah? Enjoy!” and Taeyeon immediately left an amused Karina and a sulking Winter.

“Tara na?” Karina asked, locking her door. 

Winter silently followed her inside the elevator until they reached the ground floor. Naghihintay na sakanila si Giselle, Lia, Yeji at Ningning.

“Bestie ko! Oh? Bakit nakasimangot 'to? Inaway mo?” Ningning asked Karina while looking at Winter who was just staring at nowhere. 

“Iinom 'yang ganyang itsura?” Lia asked when she noticed Winter's clothes which made the latter look at her.

“Hoy!” Giselle, Karina, and Yeji scolded Lia, afraid that the comment would offend Winter.

Winter then wordlessly looks at Karina, her eyes are asking. As if they have been friends for years, Karina immediately gets it. “You look great, don't worry. Wala namang required attire.” 

“Let's go? Uulan na ata.” aya ni Yeji when she saw the clouds.

Giselle drives for them with Ningning beside her. They really put her there so she won't annoy Winter that much while Karina and the sulking girl are behind them and the last row is occupied by Yeji and Lia.

“Sam G house tayo, dun nalang din tayo inom.” Lia suggested and they all agreed.

Ningning and Lia were the ones who volunteered to grill, proud na proud pa si Ningning na hinahain sa plate ni Winter yung mga naluto n'ya. 

“Matitikman mo na luto ko, bestie.” 

“Akala mo ang hirap ng niluto eh.” Lia commented which made them laugh. 

After a while, pinatigil na nila yung dalawa para makakain na din sila. 

Winter is seated in between Giselle and Karina with the other three in front of them. 

They were very caring and hands-on when it came to refilling Winter's plate and cup like a special guest that she is since they want to be friends with her. 

It's cute, but Karina and Giselle had to stop Lia and Ningning from shoving meats and fruits into Winter's mouth. 

Natatawang nagvi-video lang si Yeji sa tabi nila as she also find it funny since Winter's cheeks are all puffed and full at hindi din naman umaangal sa ginagawa nila sakan'ya.

“That's enough, pinagt-tripan n'yo naman eh.” Giselle said firmly as she picked up the crumbs from Winter's lap. 

Pinagpagan ni Winter ang lap n'ya and Karina placed a handkerchief above her lap after before giving wet wipes to her neighbor to wipe her lips. 

Yeji stopped recording as she saw the interaction on her screen so she couldn't help but say, “Bagay.” 

The table went silent and they all looked at her. 

“What?” she asked as she also didn't know what she just blurted out. 

Sakto namang dumating yung inorder nilang soju tower at nag-cheer si Ningning at Lia kaya nawala din ang attention nila kay Yeji. 

“Umupo nga kayo, nakakahiya kayo.” Giselle scolded the two. 

“Okay ka lang? Water ka pa?” Karina asked her neighbor who just nodded her head. “Sorry ah? Sana hindi ka mainis sa dalawang 'yan.” she said while pouring her glass some water to give it to Winter. 

“Ayos lang. Masaya.” Winter said as she started to remove her cardigan, feeling hot. 

“Oh baso n'yo. Cheers tayo!” inabutan sila isa-isa ni Ningning ng baso with alcohol in it, “For my new bestie, Winter for life! Cheers!” they all drank the first shot and Ningning was quick to refill them again. 

“Ano palang tinapos mo sa college, Winter? If you don't mind.” Yeji asked her politely. 

“BSIT.” 

“Introvert na introvert ah.” Lia commented. 

“Saan ka nagw-work ngayon?” Giselle asked this time. 

“Sa bahay.” 

“Pfft.” nag-snort si Ningning bago uminom, “Sorry ang funny lang ng answer n'ya, cute n'ya kasi. So work from home ka?” 

Winter nods her head. 

Karina nudges her softly, “Tell us more.” 

Winter looks at them in hesitation as they just wait for her to speak, “Uhm, nagw-work ako for ate Taeyeon's company. Software since IT ang tinapos ko.” 

“Cool! Super convenient ng work mo for you noh?” Lia said and they agreed. 

“Oo.” 

They asked her about her work for a while longer while also drinking. They also shared their work at degrees with Winter and although she didn't ask, they can see that she's interested in hearing them. 

It was their fourth soju tower at si Ningning and Lia ang nakaubos nung dalawa kaya medyo makulit na din sila. 

Hindi uminom masyado si Giselle because she's going to drive them back home habang tipsy naman na si Yeji. 

Karina on the other hand is pretty fine as she can handle her alcohol well at ang katabi naman n'ya ay medyo nagiging madaldal nadin kahit hindi naman kinakausap. 

She finds it amusing though. Or she just really finds Winter cute in general.

“Si... Si Jeno?... Sabi sa'yo... Sabi sa'yo hindi kayo magiging ano eh... Magiging kayo.” Ningning talks while giving Lia more drink. 

“Si ate Chaewon din, nagbalat ng saging.” -Winter.

“Masyadong good boy noh? Hindi mo ano... Hindi mo kaya...” -Ningning.

“Pinakain n'ya sa pusa sa labas, ayaw ata ng pusa, pangit lasa.” -Winter.

“Dapat kapag... Kapag kinausap s'ya... Hindi ka lasing ha?” -Ningning.

“Kapag dadating na yung garbage collector, nag-aantay s'ya sa labas ng pusa.” -Winter.

Natawa nalang si Karina at Giselle sakanila.
