Chapter 3 ~ Vote for the couples.
EHHHH?! Transfer student!!
Why was Yoona there?
And most importantly, why was Yoona with Nichkhun?
A thousand questions raced through my mind.
Seeing Nichkhun smiling to Yoona makes my heart ache.
No idea why.
I thought I just liked him.
It shouldn't be this kind of feeling...
I still had to study.
Except that I wasn't going to study inside the library, I don't think I can study properly with all the jealousy going on.
I headed back to the classroom reluctantly.
Let me tell you, the classroom is the worst place to study after lesson time.
It would always be noisy as many things would be happening there.
Some would be scribbling and doodling on the whiteboard.
Some would be gossiping loudly, laughing loudly.
Quarrels, fightings, fooling around...
Many unexpected things will happen.
I settled down in my seat and just as I took out my book, Josh came up to me.
He was one of the popular guys in school.
Not as popular as Nichkhun though...
Nichkhun is like... The most popular guy in our entire school.
That just proves how cool and handsome he is.
I looked up at Josh.
"May I help you?"
He was staring at me, making me nervous.
Did I have something on my face? Like paint or something?
Josh slid his hands into his pocket and blushed.
Is he blushing?!
Awwww... How cute!
I figured that some guys are really cute when they blush and Josh is definitely one of them.
I'm not sure if Nichkhun is cute when he blush too.
I haven't seen it.
Josh took a deep breath, smiling.
He seems to be really nervous about something.
"I... I like you, Jessica. Will you allow me to court you?"
I blushed.
Oh gosh, another one.
Although many guys have confessed to me before, I wasn't very used to it.
Josh smiled charmingly and I couldn't help but just stare.
Not that I like him, but because I didn't know what to do.
"J... Jo... Josh. I... I think I need some time. Mianhae."
I needed time to think of the best way to reject him.
I did not want to hurt him.
Yoona was just so good at this.
Why am I not as good as her in rejecting people?
Arghh.
Although Josh looked a little disappointed for a short moment, he brightened up and said determined, " I won't give up! Wait for me, Jessica."
With that, he turned and walked away.
That was one of the unexpected things that will happen.
I turned to my book and began scribbling notes.
After what seemed like hours of studying, I decided to stop and go home.
I quickly packed my things and walked to the main gate of the school to the bus stop and took a bus home.

*yawn* I walked into the class.
I walked to my seat at the third row from the front and plopped down.
I turned my head towards the direction of Nichkhun and Yoona to find out that Nichkhun isn't here yet.
Yoona was doing self revision and I did not want to disturb her.
So, I rested my head on the table, turning to look at my tablemate, Kim Soyun.
She had excellent grades and always paid attention in class.
"Soyun-sshi, what are you doing?" I asked out in boredom.
" Oh, I'm reading Mrs Lee's science notes."
"Ahh I see."
I nodded my head.
As expected, she's the model student.
At this moment, Nichkhun walked in.
He looks absolutely handsome.
He high fived a Woo young and Junho before walking to his seat presenting Yoona with a warm greeting.
"Good morning Yoona!"
Yoona looked up and smiled, replying him with the same warmth.
"Good morning Nichkhun!"
What a good way to start the morning.
I pouted.
I was extremely jealous of Yoona.
She had a handsome Nichkhun to give her day a good start.
But me?
Nah.
I wished he also said good morning to me.
Bleh.
Ms Lim walked into the class.
"Class! I have an announcement to make! 2 days from now, you will be having a inter-class couple contest."
Everyone immediately started talking about it.
Ms Lim added,
"Class! Listen! Every class will have to send 2 couples to go out there and compete with the couples of other classes. This contest will test on how suitable the couple is and that means we have to send the most matching couple. Be it looks, talent, humor and all. So class, I will give you 5 minutes to vote for the 2 couples that you guys want. Everyone understand?"
"Neh!"
The class answered.
"Should we vote for Nichkhun? Yoona?"
"Yuri!"
"No! No! Jessica!"
Everyone immediately started discussing about who they should all vote.
My heartbeat raced. I wished that everyone will vote for Nichkhun and me.
However, I knew that everyone thinks that Yoona and Nichkhun is the best pair.
Yoona and Nichkhun blushed after looking at each other awkwardly. They heard what people said about them being the best couple.
Ms Lim passes a small piece of paper down after 5 minutes and everyone wrote the 4 names. When the paper was passed down to me, I tapped my pen to my chin and thought. Should I vote for Nichkhun with myself?
It's going to remain anonymous anyway.
I should just give it a try!
And so, I scribbled on my paper.
Jessica — Nichkhun
Yuri — Woo young.
Why did I put Yuri and Woo young?
Well, Woo young and Yuri is always having those cute arguments over small things. Everyone found it fun to watch and thought that they had chemistry between them.
Ms Lim collected the papers and gathered all the votes.
After calculating the results, she announced the results.
Everyone was nervous about the results awaiting them.
Ms Lim arranged the papers and placed them aside. She announced the results.
"Well, the first pair is... Yuri and Woo young!"
Cheers came from the class came on immediately.
Yuri and Woo young we're both equally shocked and they could only stare at each other awkwardly in disbelief.
After recovering from their senses, Yuri stuck out her tongue to Woo young and Woo young did the same before both of them looked away.
I laughed at how cute Yuri and Woo young were.
Even Ms Lim chuckled at the sight of them giving each other faces.
"Now as for the second pair."
Ms Lim paused for awhile before announcing the second pair.
