Invisible
Description
Nice girls finish last. Has anyone ever told you that? Well I’m here to tell you that it’s true – it has been, and it always will be. Why am I so stupid for having feelings for Baekhyun when I know that my friend Heejin likes him so much? Why do I keep avoiding him even though I want him so bad? Should I... give up?
This is a story about how love is selfish. It is also a story about love that can never be fulfilled – a story about broken promises, memories forgotten and pain unspoken. But most of all, this is my story. The story of a girl who thought that being selfless could win anyone’s heart.
This is inspired by my personal life and experiences (as with my first story, “My First Love is You”) so for maximum enjoyment, you could check out that story (the link is at the bottom of the description)! Some characters in that story will reappear, but it is not necessary for you to read that story to understand this one. Even so, supporting would be much appreciated! ^^

Foreword
"It’s because I’ve finally realised something. After all this time… I’ve finally realised Baekhyun ah. I’ve always been right here, next to you but you’ve always looked past my shoulder. I guess I had nothing that was worth looking out for. I did everything I could for you but what do I get in the end? I guess nice girls do finish last. To you, I’m invisible, but to me… I would’ve done anything just to catch that one glance of you."
Characters:
Minyoung (the narrator) – a shy, quiet girl who enjoys music, singing and dancing. She is a senior freshman. She finds it hard to make friends, but has decided to take some risks and involve herself with more social occasions and activities at school this year. Clumsy and easily embarrassed, she is often made fun of (not in a mean way) and laughed at. She loves to sing and dance. She is also friends with Kyungsoo.
(For the purpose of this story, imagine Minyoung as an average looking girl who does not particularly stand out)
Baekhyun – a boy who finds it very easy to make friends. He is a 2nd year Senior student. He tries to make everyone feel comfortable and is a very good friend. He is caring and considerate of people’s feelings and is always self-blaming. Baekhyun likes to joke around sometimes but is quite easily scared himself. He is also a good singer.
Kyungsoo – a boy who is a Senior Freshman, and is a bit shy. He wants to become more social and talkative, but is a bit awkward. He is generally very nice, and is athletic, but many people think he is weird because he is a bit mysterious and a bit nosy.
Heejin – a good friend of Minyoung and likes Baekhyun. She often takes his kindness for granted and is a bit stubborn and upfront at times. However, she is quite social and knows how to make friends well. She is quite musical and likes to sing.
(Imagine Heejin as a typical pretty girl, but does not dress herself up or put makeup on)
Chanyeol – an extremely outgoing boy who is in the same year as Minyoung and Heejin. He is quite passionate at singing and is very musical. Although he seems to always be unserious and joking, he is a very loyal friend and he is willing to sacrifice for the person he likes. He still hangs out with way too many girls though.
Jaehee – a girl who joined the soccer team with Minyoung and is friends with Heejin. She likes to fool around, but has a very wise and deep thoughtful side of her. She is extremely straightforward, so she often does things or says things without realising the consequences.
(Imagine Jaehee is the type of girl who is a bit short and cute, and has a fresh face, but not considered striking or the prettiest girl in the school)
I hope you guys will all enjoy this story! Thank you!!!
