Then There's the Awkward One
Description
Being the socially awkward person that I am, I would say that doing new things and meeting new people isn’t my thing. But, when you’re 15, bullied up until the point where you hurt yourself in several ways and you find yourself crying constantly at night, and your parents find out, starting and trying new things is just what you’re faced with.
As introductions goes, hi, I’m Jane Cao. Your average 15 going onto 16 year old that lives in America. I’m a socially awkward person that does not enjoy human interactions. In fact, the only human interaction that I have on a daily is when my brother, Aiden, barges into my room and asks me where his car keys are simply because he misplaced them…Again.
Anyways, back to the bullied part.
If you’re bullied, you tend to try to find an escape, to forget about the people that have hurt you. My escape was writing fanfiction—particularly Super Junior fanfiction. Kind of silly, isn’t it? But here’s the thing, it isn’t. It’s the only thing that has kept me sane for the past two years—before the whole hurting myself happened.
In fact, if it wasn’t for my readers, I wouldn’t have had the courage to finally change schools to get away from the people that hurt me. So here I am, a sophomore in high school, not really knowing what exactly is life or what I'm going to do, or just how to make friends. All I know is that I like Super Junior, and that I can’t write $mu-t to save my life.
Foreword
Hey guys! Sujudork602 here with a story! :D
Does this mean I’m coming back as a full time writer?
Mmm, no.
Mainly because I’m all grown up now, and I have things to deal with like a job and college.
But, if you’ve read my blog posts, you would know that I’m having an extremely hard time with life right now—and I had the worst depression episode that I’ve ever had. But don’t worry! A lot of my friends have been checking up on me ever since that depression episode happened! And since they came every night, my friends and I had a heart to heart, and I suddenly told them, “You know what’s funny? My fanfiction readers were the reason why I came to the school. If it wasn’t for them that encouraged me, I would’ve never met you guys, and I probably wouldn’t be alive at this point.”
So, then came this story idea. Just to let you know, no, it’s not going to be an autobiography of my life. It’s going to be loosely based, with some characters based off of the people that I’ve met in high school that have helped me through everything and have helped me up until now. They’re going to be a bit weird, and odd, but they’re real.
ALSO! I was planning on hopefully publishing this story one day, and I just thought, “My computer might crash on me one day, so I’m just going to put it on a site I can trust”. So that’s why this story’s here.
Now please note that this story is in the rough, rough, EXTREMELY ROUGH stage, so please don’t judge it so harshly! ^^ Please support this story! :)
