Lee Sungmin puffed his cheeks as he continued to search for someone at the arrival area of the airport. He checked his watch for the last time before finally sitting on a nearby bench. "Ah, what is this? He's supposed to be here now...," he muttered to himself, glancing around him in search of his best friend.

Apparently, Sungmin was waiting for his best friend whom he hadn’t seen for almost two years. He didn't know if he was supposed to be happy or scared though. What if his best friend actually changed without him knowing? Canada is very far from Korea, and the culture is different. Maybe his best friend would become another person he wouldn't know anymore. Maybe he would become some alien that he wouldn't understand. Maybe-

No. As far as he knew, his best friend values his mother land more than anyone else. His assumptions couldn't be true.

Suddenly, someone tapped his shoulder on the left, causing him to turn around to the left side. Seeing no one, he turned to the right side, and found no one, too. He pouted his lips in annoyance and returned to his normal position. Then someone again tapped his right shoulder, and Sungmin glanced around to his right. Again, he found no one, and looked to his left. Nobody was around.

Obviously, someone's playing a trick on him. Being the smartass that he was, he analysed what happened and figured out that he was going to get tapped again in the next three seconds.

One, two, three...

Sungmin turned around just in time to see a startled person, obviously caught red-handed by him. The new boy had a small body frame - many people would have called him a girl on instinct. His hair was designed to lay just above his eyes, its dark brown color evident. He had a pair of earphones plugged in his ear which was connected to his iPhone.

"Ryeowook?" Sungmin exclaimed, his eyes widening at his long lost best friend.

Ryeowook looked at Sungmin shyly. He still can't get over the fact that he was caught playing on him. "Minnie-ah..."

"Wookie-ah!" Sungmin repeated, engulfing the smaller boy to a big bear hug. He released him after a few seconds, but still grasping his sides. "Do you know how much I've missed you?"

Ryeowook can't help but smile. He nodded happily and laughed. He took off the earphones from his ear and tucked it in his pocket along with his iPhone. "Of course I do. And I missed you lots more."

Sungmin poked Ryeowook's head lightly. "No, you do not. I missed you more."

Ryeowook just kept smiling. He can't argue anymore - he's too tired anyway. "Fine,"

"You're not fighting back?" Sungmin pouted, putting up an aegyo he knew that Ryeowook couldb't possibly resist.

"Stop that," Ryeowook said, looking away. Sungmin was right; Ryeowook still couldn't resist his aegyos no matter how long it was since the last time that he saw it. "I'm sleepy..."

"Jetlag, is it?" Sungmin asked, now worried. He got Ryeowook's luggage from him voluntarily and decided to carry it himself. "Then let's go home first. You can rest there."

"That would be great..." Ryeowook said gratefully. Before they decided to hail a taxi to Sungmin's place, Ryeowook decided to call out, "Sungmin-ah..."

Sungmin turned to look at Ryeowook. His best friend looked tired, all right. It's been a while since he saw that weary face.

"Really..." Ryeowook started. "I'm happy that we'll be together again."

Sungmin broke into a warm smile, and nodded at his dongsaeng. "Me too...really."

Ryeowook laughed and took a deep breath. He hurriedly caught up with him until the two were side-by-side with each other. "I'm happy that I'm finally back."

"Is that so?" Sungmin said, the both of them walking together. "But, aren't you sad to leave Canada?"

"A bit." Ryeowook admitted, his lips turning into a sad smile. "But...if I didn't leave, I wouldn't be able to see you again."

"True," Sungmin agreed, and at that moment, his phone beeped for a text message. Sungmin stopped walking for a while, and Ryeowook followed the same. Sungmin fished his phone from his pocket and checked out who texted him.

"Your phone never changed," Ryeowook commented, recognizing the phone that he gave as a departure present for Sungmin.

"Why would I change it?" Sungmin grinned at his best friend, before he read the message.

"Who's that?" Ryeowook looked over Sungmin's shoulder, trying to get a view of the screen.

"My friend," Sungmin replied, showing Ryeowook his message.

Where are you?

"Ah... looks like you two are close." Ryeowook stated, pouting his lips to act like he was jealous.

"It's not like that!" Sungmin replied defensively. "It's just that... when you were gone, he's the new friend that I met, and..."

"You replaced me with him?" Ryeowook continued the sentence. He wasn't jealous, really. He trusted Sungmin all his life - there weren't any reason for him to get jealous.

"No!" Sungmin immediately said, holding Ryeowook's face between both of his hands, his cell phone squished between the right hand and Ryeowook's cheek. "No one can replace you! Ever!"

Ryeowook chuckled, getting the response that he expected. "I know, I know, I get it."

"You'd better, Kim Ryeowook." Sungmin said as he let go of his hold on Ryeowook's face. He looked back and checked his phone again. "But this guy is pretty possessive of me, and I think he doesn't like you at all."

"Does he know me?" Ryeowook asked, getting interested.

"Yeah, I talk about you all the time." Sungmin said, pinching Ryeowook's nose. "And he's jealous. He thinks he's my best friend, but really, he's not. You're my best-est friend ever, don't forget that."

Ryeowook nodded, fully understanding what he heard. He's glad that Sungmin still thinks of him as a best friend. It's the topic that bothered him the most when he decided to go back to Korea. What if Sungmin found a better friend than him? What's the use of returning to his country when the most important person to him doesn't regard him the same?

"I won't," Ryeowook promised. "I'll be meeting this possessive guy, right? What's his name?"

"Kyuhyun," Sungmin said. "Cho Kyuhyun."
