“Shawty Imma party till sundown!”
“Can you please stop singing like that everytime you call me?” Sehun groans. Jihye laughs heartily. EXO just had their comeback last week and Sehun’s line really caught her attention. “Seriously. I’m going to go to a party after this. That line just suits me.” Sehun groans again. “You are truly a party girl now. Bad Jihye. I want to go to a party with you too.” He whines.
“Just ditch work and come here already. Yoongi oppa says that he’s going to come here soon. Tag along then.” It’s been a year since the last time she met Sehun. “I hope I can.” He grumbles. “I miss going crazy with you.” He admits sadly. Jihye chuckles softly. “I miss my hunnie too….” She coes with an overly sweet voice. Jihye is very lucky that Sehun hasn’t disowned her as his Best Friend.
“He misses you too, you know?” Sehun always gives the piece of information she’s been receiving almost everytime Sehun calls her. Jihye only hums in acknowledgement. “Before we shot our jersey scene in the mv, he kept on staring at his jersey with those sad eyes. I know he chose that number because of you and not because he wanted to sing since 4th grade.”
She also knows very well the reason behind his jersey number. Hell, she also makes a jersey with that same number. “He chose that number years ago. I doubt it still holds the same meaning.” Jihye replies. One year is not a short time. She is very sure that everything can change only in a year. And who can guarantee that their feelings will always stay the same?
“Are you really not going to come home?” Sehun’s question brings that bittersweet feeling in her. To be honest, she misses her friends, she misses him. But she just isn't ready to come home just yet. She just wasn’t ready to face everything.
“I just kind of like my life here oppa. Even though I hate my major, it’s still bearable. It’s… it’s all good here.” Jihye softly says. It’s not a lie that she likes it here better than Korea. Her relationship with her brother is improving, she has many friends here who don’t care about her family background or whatsoever, she goes to therapy every month and her parents don't bother her if she keeps her grade. It’s all good.
In short, Jihye is happy.
“What about you and the boys? Everything’s good?” She asks. Jihye knows how last year was so hard for them. 3 of the boys left and the news about Baekhyun and Taeyeon doesn’t help at all. She really wants to laugh at that ridiculous idea. “Well, we’re good. It’s hard but we manage.” Sehun answers. His voice sounds cheerful enough so Jihye can stop worrying about him.
“Okay then. I gotta go now. Call you later. Work hard honey!” Jihye says with a laugh because she knows how much Sehun hates that nickname. What can she do? Allen rubs on her too much. “Ew… just ew. You should stop hanging out with that red boy seriously. Bye!” Sehun hangs up right away. Jihye can only chuckle.
“At least all is good.”

“He should tone down his voice if he’s going to call her.” Baekhyun mumbles quietly from outside of Sehun’s room. He is going to go to the kitchen when he hears the maknae talk to Jihye. How unfair. She calls Sehun almost everyday but not him. “I hope I can. Are you really not going to come home?” He hears Sehun ask her. “Yeah, are you really not going to come home and see me?” Baekhyun mumbles. “He misses you, you know?” He’s quite grateful to know that Sehun still talks to Jihye about him. “I miss
